  I scheduled the installation of vinyl flooring on Friday 7/19/24. I was off that day and wanted to make sure I would be available in case something was needed. I received a call from Artistic Carpet Warehouse on Thursday 7/18/24 at approximately 3:30pm to reschedule due to one of the installers going out of town suddenly. They wanted to reschedule for Monday 7/22/24. Even though I work from home, I had multiple meetings scheduled that day and would have limited availability. Besides that, I had an appointment scheduled for 2:45pm that afternoon that I could not change. I explained that to the representative that called me, and he assured me there would be a 2-person crew here and they would have the job finished by 2:45pm. Two installers showed up at 8am. One left at 8:10am and didn't return. I asked the fellow that was left doing the work where the other one went, and he told me he went to get sealing wax for the toilet. The fellow did not return. At 1pm, I called the office of Artistic Carpet Warehouse to let them know I was leaving at 2:45pm. Would they be back the next day to finish up? The lady that took the call called the other installer and he in turn called me. He said they were not told anything about needing to be finished by 2:45pm and they cannot come back a second day because they are fully booked. He said they never have two people working on a job. I had to leave for my appointment and had no choice but to leave the one installer alone at my house. In the meantime, the first installer returned to help complete the job and in doing so, they dented my refrigerator when they moved it and never told me about it. They also left my house, driveway and garage full of dust. They didn't finish until after 6pm and it took me over an hour to clean up all the dust and debris left behind. Needless to say, my experience was very bad, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Too many untruths were told.

  They did my hardwood floors on 1st floor and basement. Also all the carpet on my steps and 2nd floor. A+ on price and installation!

  Ask how many seams the carpet will have. When the job is done check those seams, you should not be able to see them. Do not pay till the job is done to your satisfaction. I called the salesman one week after the job was done because the seam was not done properly. He came to see the job and agreed it should have been done better. He promised to send the installer. After calling him 4 times and getting his promise, the installer never came. It has been 2 months and the job is still not done.
