    Let me begin by stating that we have used Signature Granite in the past but we will never use them again. Signature Granite is not quality focused. It started with *** the owner coming to measure for the granite. My husband had stressed the importance of providing no gap against the wall for the kitchen peninsula. *** just measured with the tape measure. My husband made him make a template so it would fit right. My husband provided him with ******* and ****** to make contours against the wall. *** labeled it and took it with him. He used no laser, no mylar, just a tape measure. When granite arrived it was just a straight cut. They made no effort to cut granite to contour the wall. Their standard operating practice is just cutting and butchering the drywall to hide gaps. As you can see from the photos, my husband will have to build up the wall to cover the gap with tile. Now on to the one installer: We questioned him and he said twice, *** been doing this for twelve years and I have never seen a straight wall, thats basically as good as its going to get. After stating that we were not pleased to just stop, the one installer said he would try to get a hold of the shop. No one answered so the installers grinded the granite and made it fit. They were not happy. Another area is around the sink. To make the granite match at the seam, they did not get it even around the sink. Very poorly installed. They also siliconed shut the three inch spice pull out. One installer even said, I dont normally do this. I work in the shop. If by chance you are going to use Signature Granite, I would ask questions about their practices. Its a lot of money to not be happy.
