  Hollinger Tree Service absolutely DESTROYED my parents beautiful trees today. They were asked to trim away the dead branches before winter. Instead, they cut off MANY strong, living, healthy branches from the bottom/midlevel of my parents' trees. They even cut off healthy branches from which my father had bird feeders hanging. The trees have been butchered and will never be the same. All of the "lower" level branches are now gone. They cannot be reattached, nor will they regrow. These trees provided shade in the summer, joy in their beauty, privacy from neighbors, and an ecosystem for birds and other animals. NEVER hire this company unless you want your trees irreversibly damaged. I am sickened and disgusted by Hollinger's lack of professionalism and inability to listen to a customer's request. DO NOT trust this company with your beloved trees. This mistake cannot be corrected.

  Hollinger Tree Service has always done great work for me. I recently had a tree blow over into the neighbor's property.. I called Tim H******** and he was very polite and professional as always, even after I called a few times with updates. Mind you, this was a bad storm day with multiple trees down. Time told me had looked at 27 jobs that day. Tim and crew were out the very next morning, Sunday morning, to take out that tree and two others. They did an excellent job, including raking out my yard to remove all debris. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have them as my tree service.

  I called them in August of 2021 for an estimate. Of 3 estimates Hollinger was the lowest of 3 by $500. So I called to get it scheduled. It’s now July of 2022 and I have 18 calls to Hollinger since then and still I have not seen them. My trees are still there. I keep getting the same runaround. Most of the time, you never get a call back. When I have been able to speak to them, it was excuse after excuse. They scheduled it once about a month ago. Monday morning came and went. No one showed up. When I called back, a guy apologized saying “no one called you about not coming? We had a piece of equipment break but we should have it in by the end of the week”. Again, no one showed up or called. Almost every call since then has been on their voicemail and no one calls back. Now another year has gone by. I got a new quote and scheduled with another company. In the spring of this year it was “as soon as we get 5 days with no rain, we’ll be out”. I called after about the third 5day stretch of no rain. Again no one returned my call. They are always polite, but there is never anything done.
