  I don't know if something has changed but my experience was the complete opposite of all these reviews.An IGS ***resentative came to our door a couple months ago to sign us up for electric and gas. Everything went very smooth and easy. Fast forward to last weekend and a *** from Direct Energy comes to our door feeding us all this misinformation and telling us that *** is no longer an approved provider in ****. After hearing this at first I thought wow what a terrible company yeah we will switch to Direct. Well after doing some research I doing out that literally everything she said was a lie. So we called up our original *** from IGS, Rylan, and told him everything that happened. He was more than willing to get us switched back to ***, which had better rates, and waive the cancellation fee, since technically we left IGS. Definitely give this company a chance, they hire great employees and I could not have had a better experience.

  This company and their services are an absolute scam. What they are doing should be illegal. Like many others here, I had a representative of this company come to my door and portrayed herself like she worked for our local electricity provider claiming that I would get a 10% savings on my utility bill by enrolling in their new program. She had credentials that matched our utility company. In what seems to be a moment of sheer stupidity, I showed her my utility bill and she noted the account number. Few months later, I notice that I have a deduction from bank account for ************* Solar. I reach out to the company to immediately cancel this service. A couple months later, I am still being charged what they are calling, the remaining balance of my utility credits. I haven't received any credits on my utility bill, and this company just withdrew several hundred dollars from my bank account. I guess this has now become a legitimate legal issue that I have to take care of. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND IF SOMEONE COMES TO YOUR DOOR FROM THIS COMPANY, DONOT AMSWER OR MALE THEM LEAVE. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

  A woman came to my door going on about how shes been trying to reach me so they can save me money on my energy bill. She had me bring up my most recent statement and said they could definitely save me money. I unknowingly agreed to sign up and have been pay way more than I ever did with my electric bill ever since. I have not saved anything. *** is a scam. I tried to call and cancel. They told me there was a $199 cancellation fee since my contract is locked in until 2027. If IGS Energy comes knocking at your door DO NOT let them sign you up for anything

  Can i leave 0 stars. Take it from a homeowner who actually thought this was a good idea. SORRY WRONG, If you intend on keeping money in your pockets don't use this ccompany. My panels have never actually afforded me any discounts going on two years. The worst service ever actually i'm paying two lights bills now. what a joke. I have PSEG ** AND NOW THIS 150 solar bill every month what a waste of time. I MEANT ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOO STARS!!!!

  They are a scam!! A sales associate came to my door and couldn't give me information about the savings. He then made a phone call and wanted me to sign a blank ipad . I refused and told him I was not interested. Three days later I get a letter from my utility company and I was switched to ***. I gave No account information let alone sign anything!! They stole my information!!! The local police department has been notified.

  *** is a legitimate gas and energy supplier. But they also sell you scam services. They'll use misleading sales tactics and not explain things to you. Don't sign up FOR ANYTHING with them unless you're willing to actually read all the fine print in their contracts. Got signed up for a home warranty service that I'm not even eligible for. It wasn't I'm explained as a home warrany. I'm not a homeowner. But since I rent from family there's no refund for a service they wouldn't have provided. So I've been scammed out of a solid chunk of money Sketchy and selling scams. Do not recommend going with them. I'm calling the first second my supply contract is up to cancel. To anyone trying to find out info on this company, just save yourself the trouble and refuse to deal with these people.

  Stay away from this company. They don't explain there is a $99 cancellation fee for EACH service if you don't cancel in 7 days. I called at 11 days cancel because the man that came did not explain there was a cancellation fee, he did not tell me I would be paperless and he told me the rate was lower than what I am paying which it is not. This is a RIPE OFF!!

  IGS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. We had someone come to our house offering a lower bill. Our utility bills are in my name, not jointly with my spouse. This will be important later. Ive avoided these scams for awhile, but they lucked out when my husband answered the door and signed us up for what he thought was a good deal. After a month, our bill doubled, the following month, more than doubled, and the following month, it went up an additional $30 on top of what it already went up. My husband called to cancel and the representative said that since the account is not in my spouses name, they cannot talk to him but they let him switch our account?! I had to call to cancel the service and the representative then told me that the sales person bundled my electric and gas so Id have to pay a cancellation fee twice!I told them we were still going to cancel. The next day THEY CALLED MY SPOUSE TO MAKE SURE WE REALLY WANTED TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT. This company is 100% a scam and you cannot convince me otherwise.
