- Additional Info:In December 2023 BBB investigated Metaverse Techs’ business practices. This investigation was prompted by a complaint and BBB Scam Tracker report. Specifically, within the complaint and BBB Scam Tracker report, consumers think they are talking to a tech support agent with HP but was transferred to this company, Metaverse Tech LLC. While this company was trying to resolve said computer issues remotely, the consumers bank account information was hacked/accessed simultaneously.
On January 16, 2024, BBB confirmed by mail that the address/location where Metaverse Techs claims to be located is not deliverable as addressed.
On December 7, 2023, checked the businesses multiple websites to determine when they were created and where it was registered. Most of the websites were created in June of 2023 and the registrant information was not disclosed.
In December of 2023 and January of 2024, your BBB reached out to Metaverse Techs in writing via email, postal mail and by phone seeking background information on this business.
