      We are in the Pittsburgh area working with Dave F. this is the worse experience that we have had with any mortgage company, if you are looking for someone that does not care, does not return calls, no follow up, no other members of this organization follows up, a complete disaster and a disgusting experience, it there was a way to leave a minus star would do that, this is as as bad as it gets, stay away from this people, they lie, we are stuck for hundreds of dollars for appraisal and heard nothing for weeks, this person says will reach out the next day and it has been weeks, companies like this don't deserve to be around as a business owner if I would do the same, will be out of business, not surprised after seeing all the feedbacks from others as they have multiple offenses for same or similar reasons. consumers be aware

      Cross Country mortgage has mismanaged my escrow funds. Cross country mortgage for the third time has failed to pay what was contractual agreed upon within the proper billing time. The first time to taxes were late due to my account transfer between cross country mortgage companies. I accepted the answer and they did resolve the issue created by them, now this time my house insurance was not paid on time and I only found out due to the insurance company contacting me. Cross country mortgage made several excuses not a single one showed ownership of the problem blaming the insurance company.. When I called I was told I was out of compliance and I was to be held accountable for the something I am forced to pay and have no responsibility over. The biggest issue is cross country mortgage never once contacted me to tell me the about the issue. Instead they were willing to let it lapse and on the 60th day they had full rights to change my insurance without my knowledge. Then charge me. Never once did the mortgage company contact me about possible issues with insurance. Instead they kept quiet to accuse me of me not meeting the requirements of the contract. Then when I ask for full control of my escrow they reply it has to be reviewed. It has taken great restraint to not press legal charges. I just want control of my escrow I am not going to lose my house because a bank is unable to do their job that they contractual signed. They can make me look bad but the truth is I have paid on time and if it wasn't for the insurance company I back dating coverage and letting this go with no fines, there would have been a lawyer involved.

      This company needs to be looked into and prevented from doing mortgages. I was locked in signed the paperwork work a 6.25 interest rate. The letter came in saying congratulations your expiration date is Oct 2025 when I signed in July 2025. Aug 1 came and I was told i had to revise that because it didn't count anymore. I asked why it had congratulations, locked in until Oct and I was always ignored. Raised to 7. The mortgage guy Michael said his team would look into when I was due to close end of aug and didn't hear back until a few days before closing. Luckily I Switched companies and I had zero hassles. Michael b**** was awful. Communication terrible. Business practice terrible.

      We were working with them on a loan and the disclosure didn't add up to our known house price, so we started asking questions. As our loan officer started explaining the discrepancies it came to light their were fees we were being charged that we were exempt from. There were also charges not in the disclosure. In fact they overinflated our house cost by $30k and hid a bunch of charges in that. Then there was $16k in costs they couldn't even account for. When we presented the loan officer with the math he started stammering, we asked 3 times for an explanation and he couldn't provide one. He got defensive and started blaming us for the issues with the disclosure.

      Lying, over charging and hiding it by removing escrow. Dirty business tactics and know one in the company cares to call you back ever! Beware!! If the consumer finance dept was open they would be helpful but I’m hoping the dept of banking seriously looks into their business tactics

      The absolute worst mortgage company EVER!!!! You cannot get in touch with anyone on the customer service phone line, so your only option is to submit a ticket on the website which is completely ignored. I contacted them via their secure message center in January and told them to not renew my insurance that expires April 15th because I have found cheaper options. March 18, one month before the expiration, they take $2300 out of my escrow and pay Allstate. I am beyond livid, this company is a typical blood sucking US company that doesn't give a rat's ass about providing their customers with actual customer service.

      The WORST mortgage servicer. I've had 20 loans in my lifetime. This company has the worst administrative imaginable. I have had poor loan service. Also not being able to get past the automated system to a human. It takes 20 minutes The humans who work there do not understand their own company policies.

      I am set-up for Bi-Weekly payments (to save interest). They are HOLDING my 1st payment as "UNAPPLIED" and then waiting until the 2nd payment. THEY LIED about how they process Bi-Weekly payments. Obviously so they don't loose interest.
