      Definitely different quality than what is displayed in showroom. I purchased what I thought was a soft mattress with pillowtop. What was delivered was an extra firm mattress. The pillowtop is of poor quality. If you attempt to bounce your body, you meet with a very hard resistance. I used to sleep on an extra firm mattress back in the 90's. That is exactly what has been delivered to my home. I called the store where I made the purchase. I was told you have to break it in. What is sad to me is I thought I was supporting a local business. I should have stuck with the furniture stores. I'm older now with chronic bone and joint pain due to Lupus. What I'm experiencing is unfortunate.

      I waited and saved to be able to buy an ORIGINAL MATTRESS from Original Mattress Factory. I was NOT disappointed. There was NO "getting use to the mattress", time. We have had our mattress for 3 months now, we are very happy.

      Absolutely terrible customer service. We have had several issues with our mattress with sagging and unfortunately uncomfortable sleepless nights. An agent came out and offered a foam topper (at no additional charge) and stated this is the first step to making it right). He also advised us not to rotate the mattress by flipping it but folding it half like a taco in order for the mattress to be flipped. After 3 - 4 months and allergies from the foam topper we called again and requested a new mattress. According to the same individual we have now passed our time frame for a new mattress, and comfort is not covered under comfort policy. He also advised us to bring the mattress back to the warehouse where they open it and show us it passes the specifications. I asked to speak with his manager and he said Todd was left for the day and transferred me to a voice mail that disconnected after 4mins of waiting. I have dealt and made many purchases from them and this is the first time with such horrible customer service experiences. I would not recommend this company. Check out BBB for all complaints (we we did).

      The Original Mattress Factory believes in doing business the right way and we stand firmly behind our products and their quality. We realize that we will never be able to satisfy 100% of our customers, but when a situation does arise we do our best to resolve any issues and strive for the win-win solution. This attitude has helped us to maintain an A+ rating with the BBB for over 33 years. The customer purchased one of our Orthopedic Super Pillow Top mattress sets in 2020. We do offer a 365-Day Comfort Policy which allows a customer to re-select to another mattress at a discount if they find that the model they originally chose is not comfortable to them. This is a lengthy time-frame and much more than most of our competitors offer. After that year is over, we stand behind our products with a 12 year warranty (for this particular model) that guarantees that the mattress will not fail nor have any manufacturers defects. If an inspection by our factory-trained customer service agent shows any defects then we will either repair or replace the mattress at that time. The customer reached out to us in May of 2023, well past the original 365-Days when they could have chosen to change to a different mattress. Our customer service agent did visit their home and inspected the mattress. No defects were found at that time. He did try and help the customer with an offer of an additional foam topper as described in the customer's comment. This topper is made using the same Certi-Pur foams that we have in our mattresses. No allergen content is present. We believe that this shows that we care about the customer and their comfort concerns, even when this issue falls outside of our replacement or warranty policies. The customer did contact us again in January, 2024. The conversation with our customer service agent was the same and we offered an additional option where the customer was invited to have their mattress go through a full inspection in our factory while they are present to show them how the mattress is made. We have found in the decades that we have been in business that this can be a great way for a customer to understand how their mattress is constructed and how our craftsmen take great care in building the best product we can. We also allow new customers to tour our factory and see for themselves the differences that set the Original Mattress Factory apart from our competition. We will continue to attempt to help this customer and will be in contact with them this week.

      Bad way to deal with consumers, they refusing to replace my defect mattress, They ask us to return the mattress, keep it for few days, open the mattress up to see if anything wrong, expiating me to be there too then returned ???? when I ask where me and my wife going to sleep? they just tell me that's not them problem!!!! DONT BUY FROM THEM!!

      This customer purchased this mattress over 4 years ago through a family member that was an employee at the time. They have indeed reached out to us and we worked with their schedule to send our service manager to their home. He conducted a full and complete inspection of both sides of their 2-sided mattress and concluded that all specifications were within our parameters for quality control. No warranty issues are present and there are no flaws to fix. We have found over the years that some customers are not convinced by this examination and have offered a solution that most have found acceptable and informative. Since we make our own mattresses right here in our Cleveland factory, we invite the customer to visit us for a complete inspection of their mattress, layer by layer. We have extended this offer to this customer, even offering to pickup and re-deliver their mattress at no charge. We have found that only this process can help a customer understand how their mattress is made and what could, if anything, be wrong with it.
