Had clogged kitchen pipe. Techs from this company came twice and could not resolve the issue. Claimed I do not have right clean out and refused to use clean out at the basement. Still charged over $350, for not doing their job. This issue was fixed by Rooter-man company in 15 min through basement clean out for $250. Contacted company and provided receipt for resolved ussue, but they are refusing reverse chrarge. Absolutely do not recommend them. Very unprofessional. Not trustworthy. Go with Rooter-man instead.

My experience with Roto Rooter has been different from most reviews. We had a clogged sewer drain. The problem was addressed same day. They let me know every step of the process what they were doing and why. I don't feel they did any unnecessary work. They came back when we began to experience other issues unrelated to the first problem. They were always cheerful and professional. I felt that my problem was handled efficiently.

My main sewer line is clogged and i was in the middle of a waterproofing job i was having done in my basement, they wanted me to get it fixed first. So i called roto rooter a worker came out about 3 hours later looked in my basement and said yeah you have a clog and it'll be 425$ to clear it, so i said ok, he went to his truck to get the auger which he had a very hard time dealing with so i helped him, we got it into the basement he started clearing the clog and some roots came up he did a while longer then called him supervisor, Next thing i know the supervisor had a arrived they go to come into my backyard and didn't notice me sitting on the inside stairs and started whispering to each other about what they were going to try to sell me on. so the Supervisor said i am going to give you a free camera inspection. he stuck the camera in everything looked good he gets about 50 foot in and says yep thats your problem, roots stuck in a pvc pipe. i said can you go ahead and snake those out he flat out told me his machine wasn't made for that and it would be a 10k job and the work my waterproofing company is doing i probally don't even need. so now i feel lied to by all these companies and don't know who to trust and i paid roto rooter over 400 dollars to clean only half of my pipe and it is clogged still. i don't understand why companies want to take advantage of disabled people.

My complaint is on the business practices. Back in December 2021, i had a flooded basement on my rental property. Rotorooter came out and punched the line clear. They said i need ckean up and sanitation due to sewage. I agreed if my insurance would cover, i said let me call them, he said no we do that. I did not hear from my insurance or Rotorooter but they started working. So i called my insurance guy and he said no coverage. I told them to remove your equipment immediately, they did. Then i get a **** for $3300 that i did not authorize. I negotiated it down to $2300. But why should i have to pay that? They never contacted my insurance. Poor business practices, be very careful with them
