Today 03/12 my Sunday paper was not delivered. When a call is placed to the Customer Service Department, they apologize profusely and tell me they will credit my account and will deliver the missing issue tomorrow and suggest I access the digital issue. The printed edition is what I am paying for. The credit applied does not cover the cost being paid for the printed edition. When I point out I am paying for delivery, apologies are once again provided and the problem will be brought to the attention of the delivery department. However, the delivery issues continue. Based upon reviews below, this is not just an isolated problem. Delivery of the daily and Sunday issues had been unreliable at best. The customer service is deplorable.

On SEPTEMBER 26, 2022 I talked to “JAMES” at the Cincinnati Enquirer and told him to CANCEL my Enquirer subscription effective that date. I also gave him my Visa credit card information and paid $48 to bring my account up-to-date. (I had cancelled this subscription two months prior only to learn from JAMES that my account had not been canceled.)
I also “cleared” all payment information from my on-line account so that further payments could not be paid.
I have continued to receive paper delivery on Sunday’s, but assumed the Enquirer’s Customer Service e office had not informed my route delivery person.
Today I loged-on to my Enquirer account (EQ*******) and found that my subscription has been processed and renewed for $24 each month for October and November. I also saw a computer screen from Enquirer account indicating my credit card is “on file” and apparently still being used for monthly payments.
Twice I have CANCELLED my account by talking to one of your representatives. I have deleted my credit card information associated with my account. Yet, I am still receiving paper deliveries and you continue to take money from my credit. Card account against my instructions.
I believe the Enquirer is engaging in fraudulent business practices.
I am sending a copy of this e-mail and additional documents to the Better Business Bureau.
I will pursue legal action if you continue to use my credit card information to pay for this account.

I have been contacting the Cincinnati Enquirer Customer Care for over 6 months. They started delivering the newspaper to my neighbor's house (who does not get the newspaper) instead of mine. I have phoned their Customer Care about a dozen times and found out they are located in the Phillipines. They stated they left a message for the delivery service with no success. I even described the house and driveway location.
I sent multiple emails & included Chris C**, Distribution Director & Alecia S******, inside Sales only to recceive their standard canned email reply.
This all happened after I called to complain that I was way overcharged.
They do not deserve 1 star; they deserve ZERO stars!

I subscribed a while back to their online services, and realized I had been getting double charged. I reached out to their customer service and asked them to refund me/cancel my account. They did send a refund, and told me that my account had been canceled. I received an email and looked today and saw that they are still charging me. There is no way to delete payment info on their site and they told me that they would cancel my account again. This is totally unacceptable and they work like a bunch of shady characters. Never got an apology just another offer for a discounted rate to continue the service.

I subscribe to the Digital edition as well as delivery of the Sunday edition. The Sunday paper has been delivered approximately once every 5 Sundays. I notify The Cincinnati Enquirer online every time the paper is not delivered. Then, I will receive an apologetic e-mail from the Enquirer for the paper not being delivered and that they will contact the deliverer of the paper and try to resolve the issue. Nothing happens. I really enjoy sitting back and reading the print of edition on Sunday. I have been a subscriber for a really long time and never have experience anything like this with Cincinnati Enquirer. There is no excuse to run a company in this manner.

We have been an enquirer customer for 50 years . Service was always very good, until the last year or so. We haven't received a paper for 2 weeks . They talked us into auto-pay , which I now regret, Now the want us to pay 37.00 to cancel the paper. I called to have the money stopped from being taken out . but they said we would have to wait and file a claim if they take any more out. Nobody in our small town has received a paper either. **** * 8/2/22
