      Deceptive business practices. They mailed me a promo offer and *after* they withdrew the money from my account at a different institution via ACH, they told me I needed to take a copy of my statement to their local branch. Three hours later I don't have my money returned. I'm out the interest I would have earned and they tell me they don't want me as a customer (telling me they will provide no explanation) and that I might have to wait up to 30 days to have my money returned.STAY AWAY!!!

      Tried to get a payoff quote. My new lender was denied request. I put in a request and there is a processing delay, meaning they get more interest from me. Talk about a scam. Continued to asked customer service why I pay interest on something we have requested a pay off for from previous day la and I pay interest due to their lack of process improvements. No answer just continued to deflect the question. Thank god I am not with them for my home loan anymore. Also, if they dont bank with them you will have to manually pay every month. Good luck!

      The rep at the location who set up my account spelled my last name wrong. Since I didn’t see anything that she was typing on her screen, I did not know until I was trying to set up online access and kept getting denied. Went back and forth via email with her because she apparently didn’t have time for a phone call. She kept sending me one time passcodes that didn’t work. I finally asked how she had my name spelled to realize she spelled it wrong. At that point, I had to contact the fraud dept to have the account unlocked. It was unlocked for one day and then locked again. A few weeks went by before I had a chance to go to a location to have it sorted out. It was unlocked and then locked again the very next day as a “fraud protection” even though the account hadn’t been used since I was locked out and my debit card info hadn’t been given out or used anywhere yet. Another week goes by before I commit to being on the phone for 30+ min with them. They tell me the account was closed due to inactivity. I asked for a supervisor. After being on hold for at least 15 min I was told that the supervisor directed me to contact someone else. He/she never even took my call to find out if there was something that he could do to help. If my husband didn’t already have an account with them, I would have run at the first sign of trouble because it was obvious that their customer service is terrible.

      I'm at admin at a company that has to work with banks in order to verify assets of clients. I spoke to a lovely lady named ******* at their branch located on ************************************************. She was very polite and tactful during our conversation. Overall, her professionalism made the interaction very pleasant. Thank you, ********

      Fifth Third Bank is the worst experience. I ever had in my life, and i'm sixty years old.. I had a loan with them for a rv i made twenty three payments, and I found out that only one thousand dollars had went to the principal six thousand dollars had went in their pocket. Even though my credit score was seven forty.. And then when I tried to get a loan at another real bank to pay it off, they made that bank jump through hoops and took as long as they could.. All kinds of red tape.
      Did not offer me any help.. I don't even think what they did was legal....
      I could have borrowed money from the mafia cheaper... Before you deal with these people, look at their reviews.. Don't believe me, just look up the.Reviews..
      How are they still in business... Apparently their business accounts, they take seriously, but if you're an individual, they will take advantage of you because you are meaningless to them...

      I called to gain access to the online bill pay for an auto loan. They added an email address and then said that because my contact information had changed, they could not send a text message to my phone--the very phone number they've had on file for 2 months and have sent me text messages from. Multiple support representatives were unable to resolve this problem, with them often reading from a script and saying things like "Let me see where this is in our process". They don't have a clue. I suggest paying off any loan you have with this broken company even if you need to refinance with another company.

      Filed a dispute about ***** taking money since September 2024. Unfortunately I just caught it in March since weve been so busy restarting our lives since we lost our home back in September during the floods of hurricane ******. Adobe couldnt find an account and told me to contact my bank and handle it with them. I called the bank and filed a dispute for 6 charges. Ive received my money back on 3 of those. Contacted the bank and they wont be refunding those because theyre out of their 90 day policy. Funny the last charge was on April 2nd just a bit over ************************************************* the hurricane ****** flooding so this is the soonest Im able to handle this. Also the state that we had to move to does not have a branch. So 5th 3rd is helping merchants steal customers money. Tried closing my accounts with them they tried telling me not over the phone. No branch for me to walk into. Oh cant close my checking account because it has .44 cents in it. Well yall dont care about my $60 bucks that youre keeping from me why care about .44 cents. You can keep it. I needed the $60 to help. So they wont close my accounts. I guess ***** can continue to take money from that account . Ill just rack up more debt since nobody will help.

      Stay away from this bank at all costs!!! Files are not updated with previous conversations, different answers from different people on subject questions, rudeness, and a level of incompetence Ive never encountered in more than 3 decades of working with both domestic & international banking systems.

      Honestly would give a negative review if I could deposited 400 in my account they put a deposit hold on my account and it's gonna take 2 weeks to get my money to no groceries for my family absolutely do not deal with this bank
