  Modern Monuments has an excellent staff and facilities. My wife passed away and was not in a good state of mind. The Modern Monument staff was very kind and helped me to decide on what gravestone to select. They were not pushy to sell what they wanted to, but presented all the stones they had to offer, many were on display within their business. This on-site allowed me to pick the exact gravestone which fit my wife's personality. They were more helpful in coming to a final conclusion the the wording that described her and suggested many types of lettering and how to arrange them. In short, Modern Monuments could have not done a better job and in such a calming manner. To top off this selection their price was very reasonable. I strongly recommend using Modern Monuments in the time of grief to get the perfect gravestone. Stephen L. B****

  Run don't walk. Mother died 11-5-2021 cremated; Father died 1-11-2022 buried. If I could select no stars I would have.. Jason Hess was only concern about getting his new showroom and warehouse open than getting my mother & fathers headstone completed so we could put our mother in her final resting place. I visited him in January 2022 and was told her would have everything done possible by Memorial Day but no later than July 2022. He finally took the headstone and placed our mothers ashes with our father on November 10, 2022. He also has a temper so better not make him mad or question his way of doing things. Why you ask, My sister I visited him on November 5th to see when he was taking the headstone and just because I stopped him from putting us off by telling us his schedule for the next week and simply said "Jason we have waited long enough" He walked away, slammed open the side warehouse door (letting his dog loose) and then proceeded to say "Oh great YOU let my dog loose" Then walked by my sister and I and said "Just bring her ashes and I'll get it done". Wow! Is all I can say. I actually felt threaten/scared. Don't use them if you want any compassion shown to you. He is in the wrong line of work. I have so much more details I could share about the horrible experience my sisters and I went through with this man but I ran out of characters allowed! I am filing a complaint with the BBB and all I want is to warn anyone who is grieving and needing a kind soul to help with this process to NOT walk in his business' doors. Not only has he ruin 4 daughters memories of laying our parents to rest. We will always wonder if he respected my mother when he took the urn and place it in the headstone. WE are sickened by the whole experience. AND the final design of what he showed me it would look like was completely different than how it came out. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE FINISHED WORK. AGAIN, RUN DON'T WALK.
