"National grid is the absolute worst company to deal with, I have a disabled child in the house and they shut my services off for non payment , I tried setting up a payment arrangement with them a week prior to my shut off notice , they sent me down to DSS , and they denied me help, I went back to national grid for second attempt of a payment arrangement they approved me for the deferred agreement plan I sent in the appropriate documents next day they shut me off even with an approved agreement plan in place I called almost everyday for a month to get my services back on about 7 different representatives gave me different information , one person said I had no agreement on file, made me redo it, did it again waited another week , I heard nothing , services still off at that point I lost $300 worth of groceries and have a screaming disabled child afraid of the dark, everything in my house is electric , stove fridge washer dryer can’t cook can’t buy food can’t do laundry , I called again another person said I was approved again for the agreement and it will take 24 hours for services to be back on, waited 4 days still nothing, called again had another representative tell me it expired made me redo it again, sent in the documents again waited another week , heard nothing at this point it’s been a month without electric talked to someone again now telling me they can’t help I have to go back down to social services, there employees do not care if you have a disabled child or an elderly person in the house if you owe more then a month they will shut you off if my area had sources for me to use another company I would in a heart beat but unfortunately my area I only can use national grid I’ve been fighting these people to get my services back on and they refuse to help they gave me the run around for a month and don’t care if there are kids in this house do not use national grid they are horrible!"
