If there was a no star it would be right. In may if 2023 I had got an estimate on 3 small windows they said it would be in by july. I never gotten a call or any updates on my windows. So I called in September 2023 and the lady that picked up that she was the only one working there so I cancelled. Now I'm getting letters saying I have an outstanding bill $2982.00 from them. I never got any windows put in. Very bad communication and service.

perhaps the most unethical company in all of Orange County NY. “Huff N Puff” also known as Renewal By Anderson. I mean what kind of name is Huff N Puff anyways? Was the Company founded when he was a 16 year old stoner? Long story short this company prays on older and disabled consumers who are not educated consumers in the window / door market for window or door replacements. And they typically charge five times the going rate. Their managers are beyond **** imagine a used car manager then multiply their scumminess by 5. That’s what you get dealing with this horrible company. Dan D******* is one of these **** ****. Stay away from this company they are fraudulent rip off artists that will happily take all your hard earned money with little to nothing in return.

I contacted Renewal by Andersen when I saw a summer sale for replacement windows. Making the appointment was easy. The salesman came and was very nice. I decided to cancel within the 3-day cancellation period. When I contacted the salesman, he made a suggestion I was open to and he came back. Mind you, at the original meeting he said he could not come back and that is when I felt some pressure into completing the sale. I decided to order 5 windows on August 28th and gave a check in the amount of $6,083 as a deposit. I was also led to believe that the sale was ending August 31. I have received five mailings since of other sales. If I had known I would not have signed the second time. I would have had time to think. The salesman said he is not aware of what mailings are mailed and when. After I signed the contract for the second time, I was still apprehensive but decided to keep the appointment with the Tech for final measurements. The Tech came on Sept. 2nd, who was also very nice. He brought some things to my attention that did not sit well with me. He told me I may not be able to put my custom made shades back up due to the molding this company uses. Then he said he might be able to notch out a section of the molding to make the shades work. Then he said he would have to shave down my shutters to make them fit after the installation since the replacement windows are bit thicker than the ones I have now. Another issue we discussed was that the salesman mentioned that the bottom sash handle may not clear my shutters so they would be installed on site just in case. I realized then how could I have a bottom sash without a handle? He also told me he might have to saw out my existing vinyl window frames. I told the Tech I was unhappy because my 3-day cancellation time frame was over.
