If your a woman calling for an estimate, Omar has a very chauvinist attitude. Kept asking if there was anyone else on the deed, wanted to know if my "partner" was available. After telling me it is at least 3,000.00 a window, and very clearly stating if there was rott, they won't fix, they just install over it. WOW.... doesn't even let you know.. then asked if I could and if I'm ready to make that type of investment in a house.. jeee, I don't know, I OWN THE HOME... He made an appointment with me for one on Saturday.. it's now 2no call no show. I will be sure to tell all my homeowner friends NOT to use such a chauvinist company.

      Scam!!!!!
My wife was misled by a pushy, underqualified salesman who lacked any real background in home improvements. I’m a retired General Contractor, now managing large-scale projects for a major company. At the time, I was away for work, and my wife was eager to replace the windows in our new home. She insisted on Andersen windows, so I advised her to contact **** ***** for quotes on Andersen A-Series or E-Series windows—two of the best products on the market. I know **** ***** is a primary distributor of authentic Andersen products, both retail and wholesale, and they have a reliable installation program.
Unfortunately, my wife consulted with Renewal by Andersen instead and was pressured by a salesman who clearly lacked basic window carpentry knowledge. This individual, in my opinion, probably couldn’t even hang a picture properly. She ended up signing a contract for a $90,000 project that I could have completed for $20,000. By the time I got involved, it was too late to cancel the contract.
It’s important to note that Renewal by Andersen operates as a local marketing franchise. While their products are technically made by Andersen, they are private-labeled and are nowhere near the quality of authentic Andersen A-Series or E-Series windows. In fact, I’d prefer Andersen 100 Series over Renewal’s offerings because the 100 Series is more contemporary and less bulky.
Renewal by Andersen has faced multiple class-action lawsuits, but they seem to evade accountability due to their structure as small, independent franchises. The salespeople are not Andersen employees and have no direct affiliation with the company. For those seeking the real Andersen product, I strongly recommend avoiding Renewal and going directly through **** ***** or another reputable Andersen distributor.

A "sales representative" by the name of Ryan K******* came to our house and tried to pitch window sales for Renewal by Amndersen. He had no ID that he was from RBA, but flashed what appeared to be a phony permit from the Town of Amherst that he was a legitimate solicitor. Despite repeated attempts and threats to call the police to tell this indoividual we were not interested and to leave our property, he refused. He kept stating that he examined our windows and saw that they were broken. This meant he trespassed on to our property and peeped into our house. After repeated attempts to demand that he leave, he finally did with a snide remark. This was an upsetting experience and we are seeking legal counsel.
In our opinion, you should stay away from this company.

Rep came into our house and pushed over priced windows on my 90 year old mother!!! They never presented a written contract, they never went over terms, they just wanted my mother to initial their contract without understanding their terms and pricing. Now they are charging her a penalty just for having a rep come here to do a quote. Do not let these evil people into your house!!!

A representative from Anderson Renewal was at the Home and Garden Show recently and offered an in-home consultation. I scheduled an appointment and when they never showed, I contacted the scheduling office who apologized and proceeded to tell me that he has a picture of my home in front of him and described it in detail. Before discussing a reschedule of the appointment he proceeded to tell me that their window prices start at $2000. I was so offended by how he never asked what I was looking for or how we could reschedule. They showcased their products at a downtown venue in the inner city less than a mile from my home so who did they think their customers would be? For the record, I was looking to see the selection and get advice on my window needs for a home office, not his opinion of what I could afford.
