Steve and his team removed around 26 trees from my house. Of those, 18 were more than 120 ft tall. From about 14 inches thick to more than 40 inches thick trees. While weather and persistent rain slowed the work down, Steve and his crew spent more than a few days working in the rain, when it was safe to do so. He has the right equipment and he and his crew worked very hard to get the job completed. This included cutting down the trees, putting 6 inch + branches through his chipper and removed all the wood from my property. He also grinded all the stumps. In all, I feel this was a very big job for a home, and Arborscaper Tree did a good job. I also told Steve, he is welcome to use my name as a reference. I would recommend this company and Steve as the owner for any tree trimming or removal needs you have.Review fromJeff G

Steve and his team at ArborScaper took down an extremely large oak tree that was posing a threat to my house as well as my neighbor's house. They were able to take down the tree with no damage to the houses as well as minimal wear on the yard. His quote was also the most reasonable.Arborscaper Tree & Landscaping

Thank very much for your business ****. It was my pleasure to tackle that extremely challenging take down. I love the work and even though a business needs to make a profit to stay in business and to constantly grow, in order to be a success, I will always put taking care of people ahead of focusing on money. I greatly appreciate the kind words.Review from Nicole M

DO NOT hire this business to complete your tree and landscaping needs. Their vehicle is currently parked on OUR lawn and was left overnight while they’re completing a job at a neighbor’s house. My husband called to inquire about why the truck is in our yard. The owner answered and as my husband began telling him that he was calling to ask a question the owner immediately started in telling him “you need to get to the point…I run this company A to Z and nobody wants to work…I don’t have time to answer questions right now” …fine and I get it, but not our problem… and what if this was a potential customer calling to inquire about contracting services? To be immediately pissed off before you even know why they’re calling is a bit ridiculous. As my husband began to express his frustration about the truck being parked in our yard, the owner became aggressive and violent, calling my husband a ”r*****”, complaining that ”it’s always the f****** neighbor”, “f*** you” and saying he left his truck in OUR yard because he didn’t want to waste gas moving it… After looking at reviews on the BBB this is a recurring issue with the owner, even threatening assault on other occasions, and doing so in front of children before. Maybe he does great work but I highly doubt it’s worth it based on his conduct and aggressive nature.… Just hoping to help people avoid the possible headache when there are plenty of other professionals in the business that will do a great job AND treat you with respect.Arborscaper Tree & Landscaping

Sometimes a next door neighbor can be the most difficult to avoid having an issue with when you are a contractor, trying to accomplish a tree trimming or removal for a paying customer. I believe that the only time a bad review is posted about me or my business, is when it is from a neighbor of a customer. I have had NO negative reviews from any body that has hired me to do tree or landscape work for them. I have a mostly positive reputation and good word of mouth in this industry, around Monroe county and the surrounding areas. THESE PEOPLE WERE OUT OF LINE TO EVEN WANT TO CONFRONT ME AND THEY ARE OUT OF LINE TO HAVE POSTED THIS REVIEW ! First of all, ......my truck was not parked on, or in, these folks lawn, ever! I parked it in my customer's front lawn, the night before stating a tree removal project, for that customer, because I was attempting to have less headaches to deal with the next morning while getting my ducks in a row and inadvertently, the back tires on the passenger side happened to be barely about 1 foot over the property line. My customer walked out to the truck to take a look. it was my customer whom told me that it was only the back tires on the passenger sider that were just across the property line by close to a foot. So, I was working on getting to that jobsite that morning when the call came in with this woman's husband calling me up, I might add, pissed off, confronting me about how my truck was parked. I knew that I had asked my customer if the truck was going to be OK right there until the morning. I was told "yes, it will be fine there." Neither my customer, nor myself, knew exactly were the property line was, but the truck was 99 percent on my customer's property. These people were just looking to make a mountain out of a mole hill. SERIOUSLY! I HAVE WORKED FOR OVER 1000 CUSTOMERS, MOST OF THEM RESIDENTIAL CITIZENS OF MONROE COUNTY. I believe that at least 99% of them were completely satisfied, and usually very impressed with my performance and the end result (QUALITY). I think it is as obvious, to any reader of this review, as it was to me, that these people just wanted to cause a problem. Why else would she begin the review with a malicious statement such as ......"Do not hire this business........" ? THEY DON'T KNOW ME WELL ENOUGH TO BE MAKING THESE KIND OF REMARKS, OR TO BE ATTEMTING TO PUT ME OUT OF BUSINESS !!!! Has she been a "fly on the wall" watching me from when I first started my business 15 years ago ??????Review fromMatt T

Let me start off and say I did not receive any services from this company. My yard was damaged by their trucks while they were taking down my neighbors tree. I asked to talk to the owner about the damage to my yard, our conversation started off with that they will fix my yard in an "amicable" condition? Not being satisfied I pressed a little further, "you're going to fix my yard, right?" After multiple times, a response I received was that having it fixed to the condition it was prior to their damage was not cost-effective on his behalf. Again, I pressed. Cost-effective isn't my concern you need to fix the damage. This is where our conversation turned ugly his demeanor turned vulgar, violent and hostile. Turning to accusations, he started to use profanity while my son was standing just behind me. I asked if he can refrain from using that language around a child which only led to more profanity. It didn't end there. He began to threaten me with assault, telling me he would beat me up using more profane language. Asked if I should get the police involved only escalated his threats towards me. This is no way to act toward someone, let alone a nearby child. Clearly this is a pattern with the owner based on some of the reviews below. His behavior is unacceptable and inexcusable, if you're looking for an arborist I would look to avoid this company at all costs. If it was an option I would leave this business no stars.Arborscaper Tree & Landscaping

Let me start out by saying, that most of the people that I have worked, for and their neighbors, have been very happy with my business and have found me to be a gentleman and an individual that is a man of his word whom shows a great deal of integrity and professionalism. This was a high stress situation that I whole-heartedly wish had had a more positive outcome. I have worked and do work very hard to provide a 5 star level of service to everyone that I do business with. I have had thousands of satisfied customers and word of mouth has been really positive and conducive to repeat business and referrals for Arbor-scaper Tree Service, especially across the past 5 several years. I feel bad about the child hearing the profanity and I will be much more conscientious about the way I speak, especially if any minors ore around. My intentions are to always maintain professionalism, despite of the fact that I am just human, like the rest of the world. I must have been having a rough day. I suppose I might have taken it out on somebody that did not deserve it. LESSON LEARNED.
