I hired this company to put a Radon System in my home. I realized that night after installation you could hear it in several rooms of my home. It was very loud. I called and left a message that I was unhappy with how loud it was and what could be done. The ‘owner’ called me the next morning and told me ‘you were told it was going to be noisy!’ I told him I was told it would sound like white noise. I told him we needed to do something. I never had a Radon system before but this one is too loud, The ‘owner’ began screaming at me that I knew it was going to be noisy and I was a liar. I told him I called for solutions not to be screamed at. Every time I tried to speak he would scream over me trying to be imitating and even tried to use scare tactics. I wrote a check (expecting to pay by credit card but was told that a check is the preferred payment) I told them I was transferring the money right away and it would be there as soon as I made the call it was no problem. I told the technician the money would be there but they might want to wait until the next day to deposit it just to be safe. Which is what I figured they would do anyways. He screamed at me it’s a federal crime to write a bad check. What!?! My check was perfectly good but he was trying to scare me. After his screaming he told me he had a meeting and hung up. What kind of behavior is this from a business owner. His salesman emailed me and again stated I knew it was going to be noisy and it would be an additional $500 to install a smaller fan. I was told during installation it didn’t matter the size of the fan most of the noise comes from the pipe. In my contract I was told the pipe size would be 4” it’s not it’s 3”. (I kept the pipe) After his behavior I didn’t trust them to come back and make things right. I had 2 other companies come to evaluate what could be done. I hired one and the whole system was redone and now I don’t hear it alt all. Do your homework! All I can say is go elsewhere.
