Same experience as the last review. Hired the slime machine, signed a contract, paid a deposit, all the same steps I had a party schedule for Saturday morning. Got a voice mail msg from the owner of the slime machine on Friday evening, something like: we are canceling your party please make other arrangements for entertainment. I was blown way how someone could run a business that way. So unprofessional. No worth the trouble, I would never recommend.

I normally don't leave reviews but this company was so terrible that as a community member I have to make people aware. The ****************** website, theslimemachine.com, owned by *************************. It is a slime bus for children operating in Long Island **. So I arranged for a birthday party for my 9 year old and all of her classmates. I call *****, give her a deposit promptly, and sign her contract. She tells me next week she would call me to verify head count. Next week Monday comes, she does not call. So Tuesday I call, no answer it goes to voicemail and I leave a message. Wednesday I get her on the phone, she says she will call me back shortly to confirm and that she is tied up at the moment. She never calls, I call and text both Thursday and Friday, no answer or response. Now I am worried cause I have 40 adults and children coming the next day for this party. I say in my mind that there is no way this company would pull the rug out, I have a contract that says she cannot cancel within the 24 hour window (not worth anything). What does ***** do, literally less than 2 hours before my event she texted me "sorry we are cancelling your party", and gives me some type of excuse, not even worth mentioning. Seriously, I was mortified. How could someone operating an event company for children not have a backup plan, no matter what it is. No call with an apology, no nothing, an empty text. This is the type of people you will be working with if you select this company. If you don't want to be traumatized, believe me, have all of those people coming and have to turn your world upside down and try to pull off a miracle so your child is not both heartbroken and embarrassed at the same time, avoid this company like the plague. My only hope is that I save another family the horror show of The Slime Machine, the Slime Party bus in Long Island. We were super resourceful and got through the party, it was just was not what it should have been.
