Wasted a lot of time with them and they never helped me secure a job or complete the final projects, when I was in a state of disarray they failed to help me maintain composure and instead of canceling their agreement with me, they completely failed to live up to their word, "You will find a job in one year or your money back." Well now my credit report is shot because unethical companies are allowed to view consumer data and make personal decisions with it. The lender forwarder my bill to a debt collector then another debt collector, but Thinkful still exists unscathed. Their companies is about raising personal revenue and reducing their costs, which also means they exploit people to make them go through unnecessary steps and processes, like NOT FULFILLING THEIR WORD AND NOT PAYING BACK THEIR OWN DEBT, EVEN THOUGH THE AGENCY YOU FILE THE LOAN WITH, ASCENSION, IS THEIR PARTNER.

I seldom write reviews; however, I feel compelled to write one of this horrible company. We paid $8,400 for our son to take this course a few years ago. Our son struggled with the course and could not get enough assistance from the so called mentors. Once they decided he had used up all his hours of coaching they were done with him other to tell us he would always have the curriculum and could pick it up at any time. Recently he reached back out to Thinkful to see if he could start again; after all, we paid them $8,400. They didn't even reply. Obviously all they care about is how much $$$$ they can scam out of people. They don't take into consideration any disabilities a student maybe struggling with, they just want your money. What a rip off; I really should be filing a complaint instead of writing a review.

Before enrolling with Thinkful and agreeing to take out loans, I was pressured over the phone several times to take out the loans because I qualified for the reimbursement and a job within 6 months of graduation. I should have been told and warned that I didn't actually qualify which would have resulted in me NOT enrolling. If they knew the rules, they should have shared those rules with me and not AFTER I finished the program. It was malicious of them to provide that information over the phone but then wait till after I finished the program to tell them I never qualified. It was my whole reason for taking out those loans. I trusted them and what they said. I also did not read the long list of policy reimbursement qualifications because I was REASSURED that I qualified or would definitely land a job!I was desperate for a career and a promise to get me a job in something I love doing, and they took advantage of that. It was misleading because I actually didnt qualify and they led me to believe that I did qualify in order to pressure me to enroll and make money off of me in a desperate situation. They led me to believe I didnt need to read the policy requirements, trusting they knew what they were talking about and leaning on the fact that I would FOR SURE land a job within 6 months. How disgusting to take advantage of a desperate situation in order to make money. How devious to send someone an ineligible letter AFTER graduation when I should have received that letter during enrollment! Why not before you enroll? Or when you're enrolling so the student is aware before making a commitment??? They should be shut down. I have also learned from several mentors, designers, and CEOs in the field that most of what we learned was not necessary and probably the reason I havent landed a job yet which is why I have had to relearn most of what I have been doing in order to look more appealing to employers.

If I could give 0 starts I would. I started thinkful back at the beginning of 2022. I did the **** flex course. I did flex because I was working FT during the bootcamp and needed my own pace. I also did the tuition deferment because I needed assurance that I wouldnt have to pay if I didnt get a job. I wish I wouldve read the reviews on BBB before I took the course. Its literally a scam. I had friends who did other boot camps and the material is far more informative and actually helps you. The recession also started right after I graduated making it extremely difficult to find a job, especially for someone new to the field. Thinkful tells you that their academic success team will reach out to you to help make sure youre eligible for Trg. They also say that theyll send you 3 warnings if youre not meeting the criteria to help you stay Eligible. Its all lies. I never got any help from the academic success team, I was assigned 3 different career coaches in 6 months, and I never received any warnings letting me know I was longer eligible. I never found a job and now I have to pay 12k for nothing!!! Now they changed the criteria to enter the bootcamp. You have to have at least 2 years of college and some experience with ****. AND all of the old criteria changed! When I refer to old emails and try to click on the links I was sent for rules to follow they all say 404 error and I have to access the new material on the website. The contract also says you can be reimbursed for false advertising but does that not apply to me??? I feel scammed and defrauded. This company is a joke and they steal money from vulnerable people who are looking for a new path in their career. Do not take thinkful. They dont care about you and they dont care about their employees. I have wasted 1 YEAR OF MY LIFE and 12k that I dont have.
