Mando responded to my earlier review by saying that it was validated and tested at ***************************. That proves what I said. Read just what kind of "validation" they deliver. ********************************************************************

Hi ******,We are so sorry to had issues with the Spray deo. We can see that you also sent us an email on 4/20/25 about this issue which we responded to you the same day and consider the issue as resolved since you haven't responded back and rated the interaction as a 5 star. If you still do have issues or need any further assistance, please respond back to our last email so we can further assist. We stand behind our products and want to make sure you are satisfied. Below you will find a copy of our response to you on 4/20/2025: ---------------------Thanks for reaching out to share your experience we're really sorry to hear your Spray Deo isn't functioning correctly and we definitely want to get you taken care of! Oftentimes, you can get it to start spraying correctly by giving the can a good shake. During shipment, the product can sometimes get stuck in the spray mechanism and shaking the container can help release it. Theres also a very tiny piece of plastic connected to the press button that acts like a seal, and pressing down the button on a hard surface until you hear a pop can help break it. This might be helpful to you as well in getting it to work!If you give these a try and are still having issues, would you mind getting back to let us know, along with which scent this was? We definitely want you to be able to use your deo

My home ec group did a blind comparison of Mando with 4 body deodorants and a placebo, mayonnaise. The 4 did randomly equal, and Mando...lost to the mayo. I did the corporate due diligence and can tell you that they are owned by *****'s Razors and have moved their operations into the same building. I guess they're all trying to save a bit of outlay, since the 9th floor of 1 ****** where they're at isn't exactly prime real estate. Nice building, sounds great, but the view is *********. The owners follow a typical .com business model where the product is about hype- fake it until you make it. They lost out on a big bid from ******* to acquire *****'s due to covid, but are still looking for the big buy-out payday. It's all advertising and product is just the c*** they get suckers to buy to get there. *****'s founder- now the *** of the whole thing- uses 1% charitable deductions as a feel-good factor. Mando currently (as of the date of this review) accounts for 1/2 of their revenue, so *****'s is happy with the acquisition. The owners are looking for a big buy-out or the pay-off of their golden parachute clauses so turning day-to-day profit is a nice-to-have but negotiable. It's business for business' sake, not shaving, not body odor. They also are responsible for Cat Person and ******************. They bank on brand loyalty, a "brands we love" philosophy. So, the idea of the body deodorant was not inspired by a doctor trying to help make you "stink free", it was the result of marketing research looking for a niche in the personal care space. The product can never be anywhere near as good as something that was actually developed for its functional value.

We would like to share that ***************************, a third-party independent testing center, put Mando to the test in a double-blinded fashion worldwide and we are proud to say that Mando has been clinically proven to control body odor for up to 72 hours on pits, packages & feet. *************************** is compliant with standards set within their industry.Mando was started after Dr. ******* ********** success with **** which dates back to 2017. Lume was started as a quest to solve feminine odor but has become an opportunity to give people everywhere the confidence to live free from body odor and self doubt! You can read about how Mando was developed using the same acidified technology as Lume here ************************************************* We are happy to answer any further questions about our brand or products at any time. Does not works as advertised. 72 hours? Ha. Id have been happy with 7. I think it makes BO worse. And add in that it costs 3x that of regular deodorant, and the product is so soft, you go through it twice as fast. A complete joke of a product dripping with false advertising. Run away.

I tried Mando unscented invisible cream deodorant. As a general statement it works as described, but the side effects are not enjoyable. The first thing I noticed was the slight scent of caster oil, not bad, but I looked on the label and it has caster oil in it. The other scent I could not identify, but suspected was Mandelic acid, a type of AHA, which people use in skin care routines as chemical peels or exfoliants. I went by a friends pharmacy and asked if they had any, they did and that is the other scent. Mandelic Acid is derived from bitter almonds. About 2 hours after I applied it I didn't feel good, but it passed. NO obnoxious odor for 24 hours. No skin irritation either. I almost got through the tube before I could not take the sick feeling 2 hours after application and I quit and will not use again. The last couple days toward the 24 hour point I did start to have body odor, so i suspect as time goes on it doesn't work well with some odor causing bacteria. I quit using it and feel much better.

We're sorry to hear your Mando experience wasn't a better one!Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid derived from almonds. To avoid the allergic reaction our nut-sensitive customers may experience, we incorporate a synthetic version into Mando's formula so they are able to enjoy Mando safely. We're always happy to honor our 60 Day Return Policy.
