      PLEASE AVOID THE BLACK ONYX GROUP TRAVEL AGENCY !! I just got back from an almost two week trip to ***** with this travel agency and I can honestly say it was a trip from HELL!From the very beginning it appeared that the 150 group trip was a massive undertaking for The Black Onyx Group. It would have been better if The Black Onyx Group would have declined our contract and not planned the trip. The owner, *****************, was extremely unbearable. Shes rude, obnoxious and very disrespectful. I personally limited my interactions with her because I watched how she engaged with my colleagues and it was totally unacceptable.The worst part of this trip was the hotel accommodations. The Black Onyx Group assured us that they made a site visit to the hotels two weeks prior to our arrival. The Black Onyx Group placed a group of 150 elite professionals in a less than 2 star hotel in Africa; not once, but twice. We paid premium dollar for this trip of a lifetime to be placed in hotel rooms with blood and urine stains on the carpet, no hot water and filthy beddings. Not once did The Black Onyx Group take accountability. **** never acknowledged any wrongdoing. I had to stay up all night to escalate my complaint to hotel management to get a decent hotel room with basic essentials. I had three different rooms in one night because of these disgusting accommodations. Not once did anyone from The Black Onyx Group step in to assist. They were well aware of the issues with the hotel and did absolutely nothing. Theres so much more that I could say, but I digress. PLEASE AVOID THE BLACK ONYX GROUP TRAVEL AGENCY !! Not worth the headache!
