    Scam alert! How is this person not in JAIL! Took my money and ran. Acted like i was the one in the wrong when i pushed him to do the actual work he agreed to. A little too late but found out he has done this to many many many other people. Has been repeatedly sued yet somehow manages to dodge any accountability and keeps doing this to others

    Too many issues to even list here. Similar to the other BBB reviews and complaints, multiple excuses for work not being done timely. We found Dan's communication to be extremely poor and often abrasive. Another contractor had to redo the entire retaining wall because it was done so poorly. Ended up hiring a lawyer and are actively pursing legal action against Dan Nelson and DNH.

    Unfortunately I gave Dan Nelson, owner $3500 for materials for the job. He’s had one excuse after the other for not starting the job. I’ve been a year trying to get my deposit of 3,500 back from him. I have contacted my lawyer and he advised me to file with the State Police a theft of service complaint. He has had some very lame excuses for not starting the job and lame excuses for not refunding my money.

    Project and price agreed upon, he requested money which was promptly sent, was told he would come the day it was sent and it’s been 3 months and work has not been done, and now he refuses to refund our money. Beware - terrible communication, unreliable & not trustworthy.
