Hello Mr. ******** we have explained this situation to you multiple times at this point. Not once were you cursed at, you sent an unauthorized truck to pick up your vehicle after we had specifically told you the requirements that were needed to be met to ensure a smooth pickup. You had then called in to ask what the issue was and were extremely rude to our associate who did let you know the requirements for pickup. After you had spoken with her, you began to get agitated and asked for the manager who then told you the same thing. **** was nothing but patient with you as you were getting frustrated over the phone after we explained once again that we CANNOT have any UNAUTHORIZED and UNLICENSENED tow truck to pick up any vehicle within our lot. I apologize that it was an inconvenience for you and that it didn't go the way you wanted it to, however, there are many reasons why these policies are in place regarding what tow trucks can and cannot pick up your vehicle. You did not want to abide by these policies after they were explained to you, in detail, multiple times. If you are going to leave a review on each forum regarding our business, at least be honest. Thank you!

My cousin was coming over the Verrazano bridge into ******** when she became the victim of a hit and run. We called AAA, and they gave us the number for Richmond towing. When they arrived, we informed him that we would like to have the vehicle towed to an auto repair and collision shop 20 blocks away. We were informed that the vehicle had to be towed to ******* ****** which was 23 miles away. Because the vehicle was on a highway she agreed to have the car towed to ******. That night she became a victim twice, once by the hit and run driver and a second time by Richmond towing which charged her $324.

Unethical Demands and Inconvenient Practices: Richmond Towings Cash-Only PolicyMy dissatisfaction with Richmond Towing reached new heights as I discovered their insistence on a cash-only payment policy, coupled with the inconvenience of requiring in-person transactions. The demand for cash raised immediate red flags, especially given the prevalence of digital payment methods in todays world. This archaic approach not only made the entire process cumbersome but also left me questioning the legitimacy of their financial transactions.Compounding the issue was their requirement for in-person payments. Considering my injury, this added an unnecessary layer of difficulty, making an already stressful situation even more challenging. A towing company should prioritize customer convenience, but ******************** seemed indifferent to the practical needs of their clients. In light of their unethical demands and inconvenient practices, I strongly advise potential customers to explore alternatives. Richmond Towings outdated payment policy and insistence on in-person transactions only contribute to a less-than-ideal customer experience.Exacerbating my dissatisfaction, Richmond Towings questionable pricing structure extends to the realm of motorcycle towing. Shockingly, they charge the same fee for picking up a motorcycle as they do for a car, despite the evident differences in size and complexity between the two vehicles. This not only reflects a lack of fairness but also raises concerns about their pricing transparency. It further solidifies my recommendation for potential customers to seek alternatives, as Richmond Towings pricing practices only contribute to the overall inconvenience and dissatisfaction with their services. The combination of their outdated cash-only policy, inconvenient in-person transactions, and unfair pricing structure paints a troubling picture of a towing service that appears to prioritize its own practices

Hi ***** Since you changed your initial review, we wanted to provide you with an additional response to further assist you. With regards to our cash only policy that you mentioned, this is an incorrect statement as we do not only take cash. We take all major credit cards, debit cards and Zelle. In addition, we never asked you for payment, it was your insurance company that paid the charges and we most definitely did not demand you for cash. We never dealt with you directly for any arrangements pertaining to your motorcycle, we spoke directly with your insurance company.
