    These folks are unscrupulous.I paid to be tested paid for background check ,paid down on my Sept 2023 school fee in zmay .I had an accident in **** was disable and out of work and had many appointments and pending surgery .I inform the school in July/August I did not complete the admission process.I did not do physical nor orientation,I did not finalize financial aid offer nor the counseling process.I provided medical records re my situation.I was told they would speak to the board get back to me and that they would have refunded me my full amount because of my situation. However, I am told verbally that they will take $500 from my down payment. I did not get any document to substantiate this deduction in a ledger format .I am yet to receive my check when I called the school of the treasurer was very, very rude. She hung up the phone on me, ***** in the office and *************** are also people that I have been communicating .************* is the least guilty in this matter but I dont believe the board got any insight to the matter.The School is it humane as this is a unforeseen occurrence which I have no control over and therefore I should be able to get my refund for it .I will be taking this higher.

    On 6/8/23 ************** came to the ******************** to register for the 2023-2024 LPN program and paid a $2000 deposit to secure her seat. The registration form she completed and signed on said date, it clearly states the schools policy. If a student fails to enter, $1,500.00 less any medical costs will be returned; $500.00 is charged for processing. No monies will be refunded after the start of the Program (September 5, 2023).On 8/9/23 ************** met with ************** the Financial Aid Officer to discuss her financial aid package. During this meeting ************** signed the Financial Aid Packaging Worksheet paperwork and informed ************** she was going to discuss it with her husband. On 8/22/23 ************** emailed ************** explaining that due to her situation she would not be able to attend school beginning in September. It was explained at that time, as per the schools policy, if a student chooses not to enter the program, no matter what the situation, they are *********** their refund minus a $500 processing fee. On 8/30/23 a $1500 refund check was issued to ************** and mailed to her home address. She called a few weeks later and stated that she did not receive the check. We confirmed her address, and informed her that we would place a stop payment on the original check, and reissue her another check. On 9/18 We called her when the 2nd check was ready, and asked if she would like for us to mail the check, or if she would like to come pick up the check. She told ************** that she would come and pick up the reissued check before the weeks end. ************** then called back and indicated that she had changed her mind and would like for her refund to be placed on her student account for next September, when she enters the program. It was explained to her we are unable to hold her check or leave a credit on account. She requested to speak to the Treasurer. *************** who explained same. ************** did not like that this was the response and hung up on her.We are following the school's policy and giving ************** the same courtesy and refund we extend to all students. We wish ************** a speedy recovery. We have all documentation as per the above and will be happy to provide it upon request.
