I am hoping to get an extension for warranty on our vehicle that was brand new but had so many malfunctions and parts that needed to be exchanged as it was not safe to drive. rovide for the parts that were exchanged and the number of additional times we had to bring the car in. Unfortunately that does not always show how much down time before and after the vehicle was serviced that we were unable to use it as well.

Buyback requests are an interaction between the vehicle's manufacturer and the consumer.  Our role in the process is to simply provide the information requested by the manufacturer.  We received a request for documentation from Volkswagen on 3/21/2025, and provided it that same day.  As a dealership, we are happy to assist in any way that we can as you pursue a buyback decision, but ultimately that decision comes from Volkswagen itself.

April 2020 Brought my 2016 ** *** to Romano Volkswagen, where car was purchased from, to have Turbo charger/water pump repaired. Since then the car had a consistent oil leak and was brought back to Romano's 6-8 times. Leak was never repaired which resulted in engine failure to do Oil Pressure fault. Water Pump has had to be repaired twice since then. I am attaching detailed series of events and invoices. Car was looked at by 3 other services centers in which oil leaks were confirmed as never being fixed, even after Romano's having my car over 108 days and multiple times over the next 2 years. One garage showed engine flooded with oil after one repair. Other garage has pictures. Twice it was towed from other shops back to Romano's once almost catching on fire at another car dealership right after pick up due to a leaking oil valve. Was told by Romano's that tech who worked on my car was fired due to incompetency. This was confirmed by other VW service center. . Filed a complaint with VW who directed me to you. Romano's is not taking any responsibility. My car is now sitting inoperable in my driveway. Romano VW is the only service center to have worked on my car. I have only ever wanted my car to be fixed and safe to operate. Can you please assist me with this matter. Thank you.

    to whom it may concern,

This vehicle has been serviced by us and has not been back in a long time. it is currently not insured nor registered. Let me begin by saying that as long
as the *** is registered and insured, we will absolutely diagnose the vehicle
to see what is wrong with it at no charge.

By no means are we agreeing to pay or absorb any of
the costs associated with fixing the vehicle, nor are we taking any
    responsibility at this time.

This will need to first step and then we can come to a
determination on what will need to be done to repair it and if it's something
that is or will be covered by us.

Please let me know when the vehicle is registered, insured
and on the road so we can schedule an appointment to start this process.

    Best,

    Murad
