    My wife and I were very disappointed by the business procedures of the Pearson Seamless Gutter business at 1408 Lake Street in Elmira, NY. We asked for a quote, which we received then set up an appointment for installation. We had family at the house on the day and time of the established installation, but the worker(s) never arrived. We called and the secretary said it was a mixup on the company's part and the workers would not be completing the installation that day. We took this as a sign that this was not the right company to complete the installation, so we moved on and contacted several other local companies to get estimates. About a month later we arrived home and the gutter was replaced. We called the owner of the company we had decided to go with and told the owner thank you very much for completing the installation. The owner stated that he had not completed the installation and that it had already been done when he arrived to replace the gutter. A couple of days later we received an invoice, higher than the original estimate, for the gutter replacement from Pearson and were shocked. We did not want them to complete the installation and had made no further plans to use that company, not to mention it was over a month later. And, the installation had not been completed the way we wanted it done. A worker did come over a week later to fix the gutter, but we had not arranged a day or time to complete the repairs so had no idea the worker was going to be at our home that day. We expressed our serious concerns to the secretary, the original appraiser, and the worker who came to complete the repairs from the company, paid the original estimate quoted gutter replacement price, and will never use this particular company in the future. When paying for the gutter at the business at 1408 Lake Street in Elmira, NY, the company appears to be operated haphazardly with severely disjointed communication and management practices, to say the least.
