  I chose 1 star because zero was not an option. DO NOT let Brandon J******* smooth talk you into using him as a consultant. I cannot believe that he is still allowed to work in this capacity. He has lied, cheated and stolen from so many people. He will tell you what you want to hear and nothing and I mean nothing will be done properly. He cannot get quality subcontractors to work for him because he doesn't pay them (was told by a few that I wanted to use, they would NEVER work for BYOH because of this) BYOH failed to contact codes enforcement as required for them to perform inspections on multiple items and no CFO was issued. I had to contact multiple suppliers because of missing or faulty items. When it came to it, the H in BYOH was HORROR STORY! I am writing this so that anyone doing their research and due diligence might be spared the complete crap show that so many of us have had in dealing with BYOH.

  Absolutely horrible! Firsthand experience…a nightmare! Lived in our home 3 years and there are unfinished things. Over budget, liars, cheaters, don’t know how to build a birdhouse let alone a home!

  Tom O**, House builder will many years on how to cover mistake's and past on cost to fix them to the customer. MASON WORK out of square, out of plum, AND NOT TO Drawing. and this was to start.

  Horrible experience byoh ruined our lives. We are still building after a year of hell. If they don’t make this right we are definitely suing.

  BYOH, ****** Enterprises and ********* Direct, all led by Brandon J******* and Tom O**, are an absolute disgrace to the building community. An organizatiom led by someone who is reckless, incompetent and entitled, Brandon is a fantastic salesman so be careful when first inquiring about building. But over time, you will learn that he is a pathological liar that will tell you “anything is possible” to get you to sign a contract. In fact, during the entire build, be prepared to be lied to by both Brandon and your project manager about when work will be completed just to make you feel like there is progress. Many subcontractors will no longer work for Brandon or Tom ***. Reasons I have heard first hand are: lack of payment, under payment, sites never being ready for them to work, missing materials, or Brandon expecting them to drop any other project they’re doing to come running to him. It should also be know to all that all your materials are purchased through ********* Direct; a company Brandon also owns. You can be certain that everything ordered will be marked up significantly and with no explanation (and no real receipts). You can get a quote from any other store and it will beat Brandon’s price. I can promise you will be asked for a construction draw before the work is completed. But no worries, even if it’s not, Brandon will call the bank himself and tell them you have approved the release of funds. Good news though, you may not be able to find a bank willing to lend you money as multiple banks in the area refuse to work with BYOH. There is zero quality control when building with BYOH. The only standard BYOH has is, complete or not complete. Oh and if something is not to your standard, you will be made to feel like you are extremely picky if you ask that it be fixed or redone. There were multiple quality issues during our build. From things as serious as an unsupported load bearing wall, to a bowed basement door due to improper installation (BYOH unwilling to
