  This is the 3rd review I'm giving for BZ Trees Service - not sure where the other two went! Brian came out promptly on July 5, 2023 to do an extensive tree removal. Brian & his crew left before finishing the job in spite of the fact that we paid him in full. After numerous calls to him, he did return on Oct. 3 to finish trimming the lilac bush, but left the cut branches hanging in the bush instead of removing them. After much prodding to come back to the job he started nearly 4 months earlier, Brian finally finished cutting the remaining box elder trees he neglected to cut in July. I do not recommend hiring this company - they are undependable, unreliable and overpriced for what they actually accomplish. My review doesn't even deserve one star.

  As others have said, do not prepay for work. We hired Brian on 5/24/23 to cut down and remove a large dead willow from our yard. He showed up very quickly for a quote and told us the job would be done in 2-3 days. The quote was good so we paid and we were looking forward to having the tree gone. Unfortunately for us, Brian did not put work dates on his contract. Instead, he took our money and then proceeded to take two months to do the job. I have over two dozen text messages of us asking him when they were going to be finished and when they would be back. He refused to give an answer and refused to finish the job in a timely manner. When he did show up to work it was most often at 7 am (no exaggeration) on a Saturday or Sunday. Given that our family works third shift we immediately told him that wasn’t okay and that we could only have him there between 9am-5pm. He said this was okay but continued to randomly wake us up at 7am, work for an an hour or two, and then leave. Being 9 months pregnant you can imagine how stressful this was. Many times he would tell us when he was coming after we asked and then he would just not show up. Monday, July 17th, he showed up for the final time after me demanding that this be done. He didn’t finish the job of cutting our stump shorter so now we have to pay someone else to do it. What a waste of time and money. The texts speak for themselves- even being super direct didn’t work with Brian, he continued to string us along.

  This went through Small Claims Court and the judge sided with me. It was seen in court that this customer is out for spite. I believe that my hundreds of ****** reviews speak for themselves with a 4.9/5 star rating.
