Capital Heat Inc installed a ****** HVac at our house in 2020. Since October 2023 the thermostat on our ****** has given a warning and shuts the furnace down. We have since then had multiple service calls and we were charged for every single visit. So far we have spent approximately $400 dollars on this unresolved issue. We have been trying to get in touch with anyone at the management level at Captial Heat Inc for the last 2 days. Each time we are assured that someone from their management will call us to resolve this issue but this hasn't happened yet. We are unable to travel as the heat in the house can stop working at any point posing a huge risk to our property.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  After numerous complaints made to Capital Heat they failed to resolve my cooling issue.  Up until August 8 I was without Air Conditioning. Therefore I called ** ******* ******* who resolved the issue in 8 hours.  As a side note the technician was confused why the thermostat was in the basement. I spent $1,517.41  for the visit which I would like reimbursed.  I spent $12,600 on a new air conditioner in October of 2022 and I should not have had problems so quickly. I can only conclude the initial installation was faulty and Capital Heat was unable to remedy their faulty installation.

The business told BBB that they resolved the complaint for this customer.

The above-mentioned complaint is incorrect at no point was the customer "without cooling" and the installation of the thermostat in the basement being incorrect is a false statement also. We upgraded the thermostat for the customer to an ****** and added room sensors to it to allow the customer to control his system from multiple locations in the house to maximize comfort when he occupied the space and turned off the setting to control from the thermostat so essentially it doesn't matter where the actual thermostat is located. We use this approach in many applications with great results. Capital Heat stands behind the work that was performed at this house.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I called Capital Heat in early August because my house was not being cooled. Capital Heat indicated that they were sending their best technician.  Upon arrival the technician was not able to cool the home and indicated he had no experience with the ******* system.  Capital Heat offered no further remediation.  Therefore I called another company that got my cooling up and running in one day. I spent $12,600 in the fall of 2022 for a new heating and cooling system.  I should not have had to spend $1,500 tofix a brand new system. Capital Heat should stand by their product and reimburse these expenses.

    Regards,
