I went to this studio for Nano Brows. I had no problem getting a quick appointment. I was told the fee for brows was $500 & that a follow-up touch up was needed approximately 8 weeks later to fill in any pigment that didn’t take. I requested several times that no photos be posted anywhere. The owner agreed each time. At 6-7 weeks, I contacted the owner to make a follow up, I was then told there was an additional $100 fee. And if it was over the 8 weeks, the touch up fee became $250. As I was filling in an appointment on line, and speaking with the owner, the only remaining appointment suddenly was gone, so i would have to pay an extra $250 to fill in the brows that didn’t originally take. I asked the owner if she could make a one time exception, since i was unaware of the 8 week firm deadline, and that she had zero openings. She dismissed me and said she did not feel comfortable working with me since I “questioned her expertise”. I originally did question why the brows were so dark a day after having them done. I imagine I am not the only person to panic when the brows turn out super dark at first. I also questioned why she posted a reel on Facebook of me getting my brows done, the day after the appointment. She did not honor her promise not to post pictures. She did ever mention the additional fees for the 8 week touch up, and certainly did not say if I didn’t get my appointment within the 8 week follow-up, that the fee would go from $100 up to $250. I politely asked that she would not upcharge me the additional $150 if it was just a few days over, and that she had no openings. She refused and said she didn’t want me to return. There were several questionable ethical issues going on here. Fees and penalties were not clear, and the deception of secretly posting my photos, after she agreed not to. So i was left with incomplete nano brows, unless i paid an additional $250. Not sure what kind of scam she is running from unsuspecting clients.
