    I hired ACM to epoxy my basement floor. They suggested a price of about $1200 and I negotiated to $1,000, which they readily agreed to. When it was time to start the project, the first red flag was that we hadn't finalized details before *******, who appears to run ACM contracting, called me from home depot at 9 PM saying he needs my credit card info to purchase materials for the job, and rushed me to move forward by saying the store was about to close, which is incredibly unprofessional. The supplies he got were DIY rust-o-leum epoxy kits, not professional supplies. When the job started, everything quickly turned to disaster. The epoxy never cured correctly, leaving the basement floor so sticky it ripped off the sole of my husband's slipper when we walked on it. After a few days, ******* came out to take a look. He never apologized for this massive inconvenience but said he would fix it over the next few days. He had the nerve to say to me "you get what you pay for" - I guess he doesn't realize he is saying that HIS work quality is bad, and I shouldn't have hired him, to which I wholeheartedly agree. Over the next few days he regularly showed up 90 to 120 minutes late, leaving me waiting around and calling and texting constantly. He also left acetone soaked rags on the front yard, which is dangerous, and once he arrived eating a popsicle, and when he was done just threw the popsicle stick on my sidewalk. Finally, ******* and ******* finished putting down another layer of the epoxy, and guess what?? There are still a few sticky spots. ******* was supposed to come at 5 PM to deal with them. By 6:30 I hadn't heard anything from him. At that point I reached my absolute limit and told him to not show his face here again. If he had any decency, he would refund me, at least partially, for what he put me through. Unfortunately he doesn't have that. This is a contractor that does not take accountability for his mistakes. Don't be his next victim. STAY AWAY.
