      Wonderful company! I chose them because the quote was almost 200$ less than another company. *** was supportive on the logistical end, helping set everything up and get the time frames I needed. I also appreciated that I was able to update my inventory up till the day of the move! Truly wonderful customer service. Movers were strong, kind and diligent. They moved my items carefully and with respect. They intentionally disassembled and assembled furniture and even helped me reach high up things I couldnt, such as some wall art and items on the top shelves of the cabinets. I definitely recommend renting the bins, they drop them off in your apt for free and pick them up after you unpackthis made the process way more manageable and the whole move quicker! If youre on a budget this is a great company to hire I understand its always a ****** with who you get day of but these guys were really awesome!

      This company is a sham. I have used Dumbo moving several times and always had good experiences, but then after the move was completed, they charged me for bogus extra fees like furniture handling and extra protection, despite the fact that the terms and conditions says that the protection materials would be provided. They also attempted to charge me for parking tickets they received while loading the vehicle. They removed the parking ticket charges but still charged me for furniture handling and extra protection. I thought Dumbo moving was different from all the other movers in *** that try to scam you, but they are not.

      My family and I moved into our new condo in ** and we had a terrific experience with their movers. Our possessions were wrapped up in multiple layers and delivered in impeccable condition to us. It was a hassle-free move!

      **** *********** has helped me with several complicated moves. I am disabled and need extra accommodation to help pack and move important family heirlooms and artwork and furniture in multiple locations. **** meticulously priced all options and called to check in every step of the way, before, during and after each move. The service was so high above and beyond my expectations I cannot imagine ever moving with anyone else! Special shout out to Paata, Temo and *****, my dream packer-mover team!

      This company is BAIT AND SWITCH. They give you a really good, hard to beat price on the phone and then mid-move when they have all your stuff they call and tell you you have to pay more. Their mover also left in the middle of the move slowing down my move completely and they never sent a replacement. And they only move 1/2 of my furniture because they sent a truck that was TOO SMALL knowing the amount of stuff I had. They claimed they needed to charge me double to finish my move! Their job is to send the CORRECT size truck based on my inventory list and they didn't and then wanted me to PAY MORE. I had to hire a new moving company the next day because I'd never give them another DOLLAR or come near my stuff again. TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS!!! MOVERS BEWARE!

      The people who are packing up our house have been very quick and hardworking. Along with team boss *******, the other movers were very careful and kind while working very hard. They said they would pick up the rest of the things today.

      As a RETURNING CUSTOMER, I'm appalled by the second ********************** experience that I had with this company. I was quoted for a move from ** to ******* under 2k by a sales *** named *****. He told me that the truck would get packed up and I'd receive my items within 10 business days, but it's never 10 days and will be there in four days. He also said that the truck he was giving us would hold a 3-4 bedroom house so if I had extra things, it wouldn't be a problem. I tried calling and emailing him several times before paying the final balance because I had additional items I wanted accounted for and I wasn't sure what was considered an "extra" item. I pay the final balance, then all of a sudden he calls me back and tells me because I have more boxes, I have to pay an additional $800~. The next day was moving day. They sent me two movers who did not speak a word of English which is highly inappropriate considering that I have to communicate with the movers. They had to call in a third mover onto the job, who cornered us saying that they don't make a lot of money and they'll be charged for using extra boxes, so make sure to tip us good. They got all of our items on the truck, and then told us no this is too much stuff and stopped working. I called Dumbo and spoke with Neo who told me I had to pay an additional 2k to continue with the move. Our hands were tied and felt we had to pay in order to continue. Fast forward, they did not deliver our truck within four days. I spoke with Neo, complained profusely about ***** as all he did was lie to me. Neo "expedited" our truck.We finally get the truck and a chair was missing so I had to call ***** back who accused me of being deceitful and yelled at me. He said the chair was not seen on the camera so basically tough luck, but then all of a sudden they found it. This company desperately needs to be investigated for their manipulating and deceitful business practices. Also I'm still missing items. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We'd like to address the points raised in your review based on the terms outlined in the contract and move details.Quoted Price and Additional Charges The initial estimate of $2,000 you referenced was based on the provided list of items and the standard volume at the time of booking. As noted in your contract, this price was contingent on the inventory list and volume provided. Any additional items not reported at the time of the estimate are subject to additional charges, as clearly mentioned in the estimate document. When additional boxes were added to the move, the price was adjusted accordingly, as outlined in your ****************** Timeline Regarding the delivery timeline, our contract specifies a delivery window between 09/08/2024 and 09/20/2024, as clearly noted in the signed agreement. We aim to expedite deliveries when possible, but in this case, the delivery of your items was completed on 09/17/2024, which falls well within the agreed-upon timeframe. We understand the frustration caused by any confusion around the timeline, but the shipment was delivered as per the terms outlined in the contract.Communication and Staffing We regret that you experienced difficulties communicating with the moving team. While we strive to provide clear communication throughout the moving process, we understand the importance of ensuring that language barriers do not impact the service experience. This feedback will be addressed internally to improve our service moving forward.Missing Chair and Missing Items As for the missing chair and other items, we take your concerns seriously. According to our records, the chair was never unloaded into the warehouse, but it was located in the moving truck and returned to you. We are committed to resolving any outstanding concerns regarding your other missing items. Additionally, as outlined in the insurance document you signed, the valuation of missing or damaged items is limited to $0.60 per pound unless additional coverage was purchased.If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to us.
