    ***** told me they don't need a permit. They rushed through everything and I paid the price. He swore that everything was to code and strong. I believed him because he was a licensed contractor. I wasn't happy. He swore he was giving me a 25 year warranty. So, I was stupid and paid him in full. I knew something was wrong so I looked up codes. The work did not meet code. It also turned out A PERMIT WAS NEEDED. He got one after the job was done. The work failed inspection. Now he doesn't want to fix it to be as it should have been from the beginning. He is only willing to slap on some quick fix to get it to pass inspection. This will leave me with a feature that is proven to be dangerous because it didn't make it into ******** Code yet.. Don't believe any contractor that says you don't need a permit. Call the ******************* yourself. If I had done that first they would not have been able to rush the job and I would not be in this position now. They work with you and the permit isn't so expensive to make it worth not getting one. Never use Pearl River Home Improvement. ***** cuts corners and doesn't stand by his work.
