      Had to do some ***airs because of a plumbing leak a few months ago.Initially, I was happy with this company chosen by my insurance adjuster. However, things went wrong after the remediation was completed and the restoration phase began. My contact used manipulation and shady techniques to pressure me into committing to work before the insurance company had agreed to their exorbitant estimate. I signed his estimate to get needed work started, I CERTAINLY NEVER SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS, but the *** verbally agreed that if the work was scaled back I would get money returned.Then the work, which did look very pretty before you looked too closely actually had serious flaws: the ceiling fixture (which in the estimate was supposed to be removed and later re-installed) was never removed and actually PLASTERED INTO THE CEILING, also an expensive loft bed (which workers from the same company had previously disassembled to allow the work to proceed in the space) was put together backward and without securing the guard rails, requiring me to spend a weekend disassembling and reassembling it myself after they left.Absolutely no response from company management when I tried to complain. (Only the shady *** stating that I owed more money for work that was NOT DONE)My insurance company agrees with me that this company should not be used in the future. You shouldn't use them either.I fully expect the company to ***ly here stating that I was in the wrong, but this is all part of the same manipulation and intimidation techniques that they try to use with women. Do not listen to them.

Given the urgency you expressed in getting the repairs underway, we made your project a priority and moved quickly to start the work. Our goal was to minimize disruption to you and your family. While we understand there were some concerns about the ceiling fixture and loft bed, we completed the work based on the agreed-upon scope and with the goal of delivering quality results in a timely manner. Our ownership group has made several attempts to reach out, and we would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss your concerns and gain more clarity on what could have been done differently.       They were horrible company from beginning to end. Clean up crew broke various things In the basement, 1sat floor and 2nd floor, needless to say they did not bring it to my attention. The content that was removed from my house for soot clean up was brought back without being cleaned still completely dirty, broken dishes and casserole. Fans with soot were put in a boxes clearly labeled by PDR movers "clean clothes". They sent 1-2 painters for the 1st 2 weeks, the 3rd week they ****** 5 guys and said they were going to paint the entire 1st floor in one day. I told them they couldn't because there was a 102 year old man on the 1st floor, they said they thought I would bring him upstairs.... I was very upset and called the head of their construction crew who called the head painter after which he walked around my house cursing in Spanish. Painters put plaster on my grass in the backyard along with paint that they shook off of their washed brushes, it was windy that day so the paint also got on my ***** grill cover, lawn mower cover and back screen door window. After they skimmed coated a room and when sanding they took my new window fan to blow the dust out of the room through the screen and into the alley way, fan is still dirty. Painters painted my fathers shirt and a curtain, left the blinds up when painting. Their dry cleaner shrunk my fathers ***** ***** wool pullover. So far PDR has ONLY replaced the broken lamp. There are many more issues, but there is not enough space to add, I am sure who ever is reading this gets the idea of what kind of company PDR is. I am now in touch with my insurance company sending pics of the issues. Also waiting to get the content cleaned by another company. This company is totally uncaring of other peoples belongs and property. I am sure if I were not a woman the head of the painters would not have cursed in Spanish in my own home, totally disrespectful. Bottom line, stay AWAY from PDR, they are a horrible company.

      As of this date I have never heard from Paul Davis Restoration about this total debacle. The clean up is totally unresponsive, no return follow up, can not leave a message because voice mail is full. . If they spoke with anyone it sure wasn't me or my claim.....
