Well I just got my 2 super special awesome scam letters today, one from NY Certificate Service and the other from Labor Poster Compliance. I thought something was off when I looked at these letters... looks professional but there is no website on either letters which is odd. If anybody receives letters like these or anything else like it, look them up first before you decide to pay them. I on the other hand will have a bit of fun contacting the number they provided, that's if they pick up.
Stay safe out there ladies and gents, these scammers are trying every method in the book to steal your money. Don't fall for it.

Former my LLC last week and now getting a ton of mail requesting all sorts of money. Received this mailing requesting $87.25 for an elective New York State Certificate of Status and after a quick search found it was a scam. Funny how quick so many are willing to take your money!

I received this letter requesting $87.25.
I saw it was totally fraud. With all these complaints I do not understand why are they not shut down yet???

Thing's a scam. Don't fall for it. The reason no one's raided their office and shut them down is cause there's no building at the address. Wherever they operate out of, it's not there.
Don't feel bad if you didn't realize it. They prey on people expecting mail from the state, take careful steps to make sure their letters look like state documents, and pull the thing where you get it really close to when it's supposed to be sent in so you panic and scramble.
However, these guys are awful people and I hope they stub their toes on literally everything.

Just opened by LLC two days ago with NY state, the state immediately sent me via email the certificate of status signed by Robert rodriguez Secretary of State. So immediately when I saw the letter from NY certificate service requesting $87.25 to issue a certificate status I knew it was a scam, I then Google the company and saw the reviews. How is it possible that these people are still in existence after all the complaints, and where are they getting our information. Is this an inside job by someone that works by the the nys department of state..???? Or is it that the state is selling our information to a third party…
