My experience with this law firm was awful. Briefly, they explained that they assign two lawyers to the case claiming that one will do the trial work, the other everything else. I call that double billing. Every time one lawyer emailed or met with us, we'd have to pay for the other lawyer's time to read the email or listen to a report of our meeting. At one point we complained and they agreed to knock $1,000 off the monthly huge bill. Finally, way too late, and after spending $50K,(no depositions, no trial) we went to another law firm. One of our lawyers even charged for a five-min. phone call with the new lawyer. Additionally, they had no concept of confidentiality and talked about us to the opposing lawyer, even revealed information he should not have. I was going to file a formal complaint but was too exhausted from the whole horrific episode. I may still do that even though it's too late for any recompense. More for my own satisfaction and to get it in the files. We were so angry and upset that I wrote to a head partner but never got a response. Just because O&A has been around for nearly 100 years doesn't mean the work they do is high quality. They deserve no stars.
