  Do not use this company. If I could do Zero stars I would. I hired them for a Shower Remodel in July 2023, the initial quote was $8,000 then, it was going to be $16,000 and then it was $24,000. As of today, the shower is still not done. They have a million excuses for why, including blaming the customer. But the fact is, they are unprofessional and don't know what they are doing. When I asked for a partial refund, they told me to file a complaint with the ************************ and to *** them. They claimed the reason they couldn't finish the job after 8 months was because of our availability to give them access to the job site. I have made myself available to make sure they had *********** and on weekends. After 3 weeks, we still aren't even close to being finished. They didn't work weekends, and only work 3 days a week at the most. The bathroom is unusable and the owner, *** and his son ********* are completely unapologetic. Do not hire this company.

  I put on ****** list for someone to contact me concerning my hot water heater. A gentleman called within half an hour from Genesis offering to swing by. I told him I could not meet him at that time, but we could meet at 4:30. Well in the meantime I went home and was able to get the hot water heater working. So I texted him at 1:41 PM leaving a message telling him not to come by but thanks anyways, well he goes by at my house at 4:30 anyways. My son tells him that I was no longer there and that the hot water heater is working now, but thank you. Well 4 or 5 of them sat out front of my house for half an hour. They were in older dodge Durango and a ***** year old ******** and just sat there for no reason. Typically when a plumber comes to your house its one person in a work truck or van. Well about 5:30 this afternoon I get a text from this gentleman stating he was going to charge me $285 for the canceled appointment and that if I didnt pay he would place a lien on my property. After receiving his text I responded that he must have lost his mind. Since then hes called me at least 4 or 5 times this evening, . And he is saying he will place a lien. . Well he is barking up the wrong tree. I have been a licensed contractor in NM for 30 years (although currently not practicing). He cannot place a lien under these conditions. There are circumstances in which a company can charge for a cancelled appt but only when they have given you their cancellation policy and they have to give all their customers the same policy. I did explain to him he is welcome to meet me once I get back to town and discuss the invoice which I will never pay. After reading all the online comments they are obviously just thugs and punk hoping to strong arm money out of people. They will find out I am the wrong Cowboy. I doubt they even have a license. I will contact the state licensing division and will also contact ****** List and inform them. Spread the word.

  BEWARE of these scammers. They prey on uninformed or elderly New Mexico residents. Check the owner of this company (Lee R*****) on the New Mexico ****** ******. He continues to be sued for faulty and illegal work. Please do your best in warning others of this man and his crew.
