On 04/23/2024 the Better Business Bureau reached out to Arzis Lawn care regarding concerns related to services being advertised on https://arzislawncarellc.com/services/ that require licensing such as, but not limited to, Irrigation system installations, grading, Outdoor Pavilion/Pergola/Gazebo installations, etc.
This is in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising, section 1 titled, Basic Principles of the Code
1.1 The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.
1.2 Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used.
1.4 Misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact.14.6.3.8(A)(1)NMAC "To act in the capacity of acontractor as defined in Section 60-13-3 NMSA 1978, an entity must be issued alicense."
60-13-3 NMSA 1978 defines a contractor as "any person who undertakes, offers to undertake by bid or other means or purports to have the capacity to undertake, by himself or through others, contracting. Contracting includes constructing, altering, repairing, installing or demolishing any: 2) building, stadium or other structure, (12) leveling or clearing land, (15) electrical wiring, plumbing or plumbing fixture,consumers' gas piping, gas appliances or water conditioners;"
After attempts to reach the business on 05/10/2024, 05/30/2024, and 06/07/2024 the company has not responded to our communiques and a license for the company has not been located.
