  Would prefer to give zero stars. This company has messed up on our account multiple times and no one there seems to really care. If there are ANY other escrow companies you can work with, I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere.

  When we spoke yesterday, we explained that we are only able to accept payments in accordance with your written contract. We cannot accept partial payments unless we had written authorization to do so by all parties. While we can understand your frustration, we must abide by the written contract unless we have instructions otherwise. We also reviewed your file for any other possible issues with your account and were not able to see any other issues. We would gladly meet with you in the event you wish to go over other issues.

  I would not give Sunwest Escrow any stars, but I am forced to by BBB policies. They are the only company I know of or worked with that refuses to contact the taxing authority directly to determine what us owed and pay the 5ax bill oit of escrow funds. And then when I discovered this practice I was late and received penalties and fees over $1,000 and the company did nothing, only quoting their policy and denying the normal practices of the escrow industry, even when I spoke with the owner. I would never have done business with th8s company if I had read their policies more carefully and believed what extreme policies I was seeing. Never do business with this company.

  While this issue has been discussed with several employees and the owner of Sunwest, we will once again go over our policy regarding payment of taxes. Per the written and agreed to terms of the *********** Contract, that was initialed and signed by you, it clearly states that the Purchasers are responsible for providing the Escrow Agent with ******** for taxes, failure to do so will result in nonpayment. Furthermore, these terms were again spelled out in the welcome letter and also in our policy statement that was supplied to you at the time of closing of the property. In addition, another letter was sent to you on September 29, 2023, once again advising you that the tax bill must be sent to our office every year for payment, if this was not done, Sunwest would not be responsible for any interest and penalties that may become due for failure to supply the tax bill. Along with all of these notifications, the tax bill requirements are also listed on every payment receipt that is sent to you after a payment has been made to your account. We go to extreme lengths to notify our customers of this requirement several times a year even though it is clearly stated in the original signed and agreed to Contract and we also have several ways for clients to get us the ******** each year by fax, text, email, upload from our website, regular mail and the ******** can also be brought into our office.

  This so called escrow bank does not negotiate to pay down loans i tried to refinance I also tried to call them Im always on hold they have lied about the student loan payments and other customer home loans this company needs to be investigated by the *** and the *** witch i already reported this to they are also starting up fake accounts in order to get more leads

  I believe this client does not have a clear understanding of Sunwest Escrow’s role in the student loan they have. Sunwest Escrow is not a bank or a lender, we are simply a loan servicing company meaning that we accept payments from a borrower and allocate said payment as to principal and interest based on the information we were provided when we began servicing the loan. Sunwest Escrow was contacted by a Representative of White Knight Funding and was asked to takeover servicing from a company called “Scratch” I believe. We were given balances; payment amounts and interest rates on a spreadsheet from them and we have always referred specific questions about the loans to White Knight Funding. Because Sunwest Escrow is not the lender we are unable to negotiate the payoff on the loan and can only refer those issues to White Knight Funding. If the client complaining would like to send me an email I would be happy to direct him/her to our contact at White Knight Funding.

  This company does not do what they are paid to do. In July, I got a notice from the tax assessors office that my taxes hadn't been paid since 2021. I called the tax office and when she saw that my escrow was with Sunwest...she apologized. She said they are horrible about making payments. I got a statement of taxes due from her and sent it to Sunwest Escrow as I was instructed. Today I just got another bill stating that nothing has been paid. I called and was transfered to *****'s voicemail. **** called me back this evening and said that she needed proof that I sent an email in July...I did that. She told me that I am responsible for any other fees/penalties. I told her that I would need proof that they notified me directly that "I am required" to send them my tax bill every time for payment. I have made my payment on time for the last 20 years and have never had an issue until this company took over. Again...I never received anything up until July when I asked the county tax office to send me copies of everything...I just assumed that the escrow company actually did what and escrow company is paid to do...pathetic. I will also be going directly to the **** about this issue.

  You do have to go through a couple of phone prompts but I've always been able to reach someone when calling during business hours and my emails have always been promptly responded to. My contract was a bit complicated and there were a few tweaks which had to be made but everything was taken care of in a timely and courteous manner. I would recommend Sunwest and I would use them again.

  So this company seriously is horrible they keep changing there website. How do I make my payments online I have been doing it for almost 3 years now? I called them today they said they would send info to there IT because there new website has no where to make payments??? This is so annoying I live 3 hours away from ***********. Please do something about this website it is horrible

  For 3 years I fought with these people to pay my property tax with my money sitting in escrow. I trusted them. My taxes are 3 years behind and its been a fight for the last 2 years. I had over $3k in escrow with a $35***** bill. I just got a letter saying Im $1500 short. Do the math. I dont know what theyve been doing with my money. ****************** fights with them and gets his money thankfully. Extremely disappointed and exhausted with the fight, over MY money! They dont do what theyre paid to do.
