    This business is a/k/a ****Deckert and Sons. The experience I had with them is awful! It took months for them to make and install 2 awnings over my doorways. When the awnings were finally made, they sent one man to install these awnings and it took all day. 1 in the back and 1 on the side of my home. They installed the awnings in November 2024. On February 9th, 2025 we had 3 inches of snow. I went outside and noticed that the snow that slid down my roof and fell on the awning and put a huge dent in the awning.I called the company and spoke to the owner of the company. He told me to file a claim with my homeowner's insurance. I told him that was I was calling because I wanted to know what the awning was made of and if I get another awning I want to be sure its not the same material. He told me aluminium. I asked him what was the grade/gauge/thickness of the aluminium. He refused to tell me. He told me that this happens all the time and sometimes they break in half. He said I should go and have a wooden box cover installed over my door. I asked him why he doesn't make the awnings out of a better/stronger material and he hung up on me!I am very disappointed with the treatment and response I received from this company. I do not recommend these awning as they ARE FLIMSY AND PAPER THIN! If 3 inches of snow can dent an awning, I can't imagine what would have happened if we had 6 inches of snow! The cost for the 2 awnings was $1700! I would have thought they would last more than 4 months! I am at a loss...
