      Customer service is the worst they call and call and call about a debt they created.I would never use them again in my life.

      We called for emergency service because the heat was not working on a very cold night. The charge for just the visit was $150. There was an additional charge of $50 for diagnosing and fixing the problem.
      The problem was that the emergency switch to the heat was accidently turned off. This occurred because the emergency switch is located next to the utility room light switch.
      The service person noticed this right away when entering the utility room.
      We have no issues for the $150 for the emergency visit, but the $50 is a ridiculous add on fee in this circumstance.
      I spoke to the arrogant field manager by phone and told him of my complaint. He scolded me saying, "Do you want us to do this for free" and "You should call the gas company then."
      The field manager's attitude was antagonistic and disrespectful. Furthermore, being sarcastic and discourteous to clients will certainly cost Petro my business in the future.

      I signed up with PETRO because the salesman was so aggressive, promised the world, and to stop his hounding phone calls I finally relented. I just bought this home and while I was moving in he asked my realtor for my phone number and she gave it to him. I signed up for the service contract for furnace maintenance and service. When it came time for the annual preventive maintenance work, they said I only had a contract for one burner and this house has two, so they only did half the job. The aggressive sales guy said he was familiar with the system because the previous owner used them. These guys will lie, lie, lie to get your money and then only do half the expected job. They also wanted to charge me again to do the other furnace. I didn’t think it should b3e double since they already have to come out to do one, they don’t have to come again to do two when the units are adjacent to each other. Find a more trustworthy and reputable company than this one. I do not recommend them. Customer service just gives platitudes, no real knowledge at this company. Field tech only care about their union wages and won’t lift a finger to go above and beyond
