  The pharmacy switched generic providers and switched my 17-year-old child's birth control (taken to regulate period due to a medical condition inherited from their mother's side of the family and we have to CLOSELY MONITOR), from ***** to *******, the latter produced by Glenmark. However, the pharmacy had said it was the exact same medication. On ***** my child has their period at the end of a three-month time. This has been the same for years, much to my child's relief (as otherwise it's constantly irregular). However, three weeks into taking the ******** my child started their period.I called the pharmacy. I called the ***** (waiting on their call back). CVS Corporate; still NOTHING on whether or not this is standard for this medication. ****** results are giving us contrary answers so we need it from the professionals. So, I called Glenmark. They pulled up the medicine and insisted that all they could inform me was that "if the periods are irregular" nonsense... but nothing about what would be irregular on this medication! 26 minutes into the conversation, this review mostly written, multiple requests to speak to supervisors ignored, I told her I was going to leave this review and who knows, maybe enough complaints the U.S. might stop allowing Glenmark to do business here. THAT got her to tell me that THIS SPECIFIC medication is supposed to be one period a month. I had to threaten an act that might aide in stopping their business from doing business in the U.S. JUST TO GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. Never, EVER, take any Glenmark Pharmaceuticals medication if there is ANY OTHER GENERIC for your medication. Even if it means switching pharmacies. There's never a straight answer to anything.

  I have Alpha-gal Syndrome and contacted Glenmark Pharmaceuticals to find out if the inactive ingredients in one of their medications contains any mammalian products. Almost 2 weeks later, and no return correspondence, I called again today. I was told that an email was sent to me yesterday. This was a lie. I've checked all of my folders and nothing was there. Also, the only thing that was confirmed was one ingredient. When I asked about the others, I was told that they don't know! How can a ********************** not know what is in their medications? This is a red flag athe *** needs to do some investigating. This allergy has potential to be life threatening and some serious regulations need to be put into place really quickly!
