    What a joke. After spending over 2 hours registering as a new donor, questionnaires, biometrics 4x ???, photo taken, money card issued and passing "the exam", I was turned down due to one of my meds, a mood stabilizer, by an unlicensed medical intake staff member, who even had to ask me what my meds were/did, and couldn't pronounce not one of them!! Really?? But yet a large portion of the clientele seen going in & out of this money generating factory, IMO, should be in rehab instead of this business. I would gather to wager that a great portion are "passing" the screening process for access, to donate and collect funds, for the funds only. Not only a disappointment but also shouldn't be allowed to operate. Never has my staff of physicians recommended or endorsed this type of operation. All for the money and nothing else. I'm willing to bet hands down that not one donor would opt to donate without compensation, if they really did intend donating "for the good of humanity".... it's all about grabbing the money. During and especially after "the process" only to be turned off down by one whose ridiculous intelligence ceased to amaze me, I honestly felt a relief that I wasn't going to lower myself to this type of purpose in society. The guilty gut feeling I had left me as soon as I walked out that door. I was ashamed of myself for even thinking of doing something like this.
