Sorry I did not read reviews before allowing to handle my installation, if you have an issue company will not communicate and refuse to rectify.

J&S Flooring has worked closely with ****** on the situation. We spoke with the ****** Installation Support Team on this and they agreed that this alleged damage does not appear to have occurred from our installation. The damage occurred in a separate room from the installation performed by J&S Flooring. If we had ripped the existing vinyl in the connecting area, it would have ripped close to where the transition was installed. Work order was closed by ****** Home Improvement as they are in agreement.

It would have been courteous and respectful to respond to the customer. The hallway where ******************** was being installed is connected and how you enter the bathroom where linoleum was damaged, the crack is close to transition. I expected professionalism from Lowes, but representative was accusatory with no consumer concern

On 11/11/20 we contracted with ****** for a new kitchen floor. J &S Flooring did the installation on 01/14/21. In 08/21 we called ****** because we had spilled something on the floor and it was discolored. They sent out a technician who said we only needed to buy 2 packs of flooring for the repair. When ***** came to complete the repair we were told we needed to replace the entire floor. The repairmen called their office and spoke entirely in Spanish to them. I believe we were flimflammed into buying a whole new floor. We did not. Who knows what they said on the phone. That was very unprofessional. We just wanted to alert others to *****'s scamming practices.

J&S Flooring does not have any "scamming practices". If our installers were speaking Spanish to their manager, it is just because it was the easiest way for them to communicate being it is their primary language. Per the J&S Flooring and ****** system notes on file, the situation took place as follows:****************** laminate Install (99 square feet) was done on 12/3/2020. Customer didnt like the white round sold so they chose a different round and we went back to install those on 1/14/2021.On 8/12/2021 J&S Flooring went for inspection, customer had a leaky garbage bag that had damaged the floor. At that time it was determined that we could repair the damaged section (approximately 30 square feet) as a billable repair as it was not an install or product issue. We received a payable repair workorder 2 months later on 10/11/2021. When we went back on 10/28/2021 it was determined that there was more damage since the inspection completed over 2 months prior. It was about 75 square feet of flooring damaged/affected and total actual sf was only 87sf, so replacement of all materials was needed at that point. Customer did not want to pay anything more and declined to move forward. In summary- the additional damage incurred after the initial work order was completed, increasing the square footage of the flooring that needed to be replaced. The original flooring installation was satisfactory, and the damage, because it wasn't a product or installation issue, was not covered under the warranty, and the customer didn't want to move forward with the additional costs.
