      Their online booking system doesn't work. I tried booking four different times and my card was charged four different times and four different times after booking I got their stupid message saying sorry your booking couldn't be processed even though my card was charged the four times and even though I had to wait 24 hours for them to return my money because the charge did go through, even trying to use two separate cards on different devices, my phone my computer. I called them to try to book over the phone and they said there would be a $7 fee and when I inform them that their online booking reservation system didn't work they acted like they didn't care at all they could see the charge had been processed four times but had no explanation for why they're online booking system was not giving me the reservation and insisted that if I wanted to go ahead and book I had to pay $7 to book with then over the phone. After looking at the reviews I'm really glad I found Red Coach they have better buses better seats you pay $20 more but you can actually book online and their website works they have good reviews, I don't know why I was wasting my time with this stupid Megabus. Not something I would expect from a ******** company. Maybe someone can fix their online booking system and they can refund me the $120 for the three bookings that still haven't been refunded yet

      Noone in bus station was helpful. Knowing where to go *********. I ran from **** Filbert to **************.******* tells you to look for big blue bus which is BS. I went back to **** ******* and I missed the bus. Waited for 5;3. purchased another ticket. Called ******* and they refused to give me a refund. Stating it was my fault. Lots of BS on the return trip. Why are these people in business? They need to shut them down for consumer protection. DO NOT Megabus. If we boycott this service. They eventually will go out of business. I want my ***** back.

      BEWARE USING Megabus!They left my son at the Bus Station at night without trying to contact him or attempting to get him home some other way. He had a paid reservation with an upgraded seat, but they said the bus filled up at the stop before so the driver didn't bother stopping at the actual bus station for actual prepaid customers. There were other people they left at the station that night as well.They will also keep your money on exchanges if there's an unused balance, plus they charge a fee which is in addition to the exchange. You can't use your credit to pay for the fee either. This happened to me when I changed a round trip ticket. They give you 10 minutes to exchange on their website. I could book the first date, but not the 2nd because their system only goes 45 days in advance. If I tried to back out of the online exchange, I wasn't sure if I would loose all of my money because of the 10 minute limit. So I upgraded his seat to not loose so much and had to forfeit about $15, plus pay a $7 fee on my credit card to make it happen. THEN when they left him at the bus station, they only refunded the price of the ticket, but kept the booking fee even though it was their fault. I don't understand how that is legal.I don't understand BBB's rating of A+ for this company. They only have a 1 star rating and I only see complaints like mine. I hope they reconsider.

      Bus arrived at the stop in ************ at 7am did not make a complete stop blew the horn and left, even failed to stop at the stop sign.. I called and the driver reported he picked up someone and I was the only one there.. very reckless and refused to give me another ticket or my money back.. this has to stop Ill take it to small claims court if I have too..

      Does not issue refunds. *** broke down halfway to ************* and we were stuck on the highway for three hours, had to get on the next bus back immediately upon reaching the falls. Would not provide a refund, actually mind blowing. Scummy scam of a business.

      My daughter was traveling from ************ to ************* on a Megabus. It was a rainy afternoon and we arrived a few minutes late and the bus was gone. (We later discovered her bus left the stop 20 minutes prior to departure time.) We bought a ticket for the next bus which left at 5:25, she stood in the rain for 45 minutes, only to find out at 6:15, that the bus left at 4:28...over an hour early! I called Megabus customer service and they confirmed that both buses left before the scheduled departure time. They offered no reason, and simply responded it does happen sometimes. How can a bus company operate this way? Leaving its customers standing waiting for the bus to come. There were several other customers left waiting too. Never again will trust my college student to a company that clearly doesn't care about their customers!

      Terrible policy for bus cancellations and terrible customer service! 3:00 Bus scheduled from ******** to ********* was canceled while standing in line. No reason provided. Customers were provided a customer service number to call that did not work. Located another customer service number and was informed we needed to purchase a new ticket for a later bus which cost $20 more than the original ticket. Megabus refused to refund the difference even though they canceled the bus. Multiple calls to customer service proved fruitless and they were terrible to deal with!

      Hot garbage juice! The bus was supposed to come at 7:50 pm on Saturday. We stood around and waited and waited and asked when the bus was coming. Finally around 8ish, the agent informed us that the bus has been cancelled because they didn't have a driver. But we could wait for the 9:50 bus. Somebody asked what if that bus doesn't have a driver. The agent said he doesn't know until he gets the information from The Yard. So I left and caught a train back to ******. When I called customer service for a refund, they said that they couldn't because it showed that the bus came at 8:25 pm, which is a lie, but I could take a redemption code. I don't want a redemption code. I want my money back. Lies that the bus came at 8:25 pm, because I saw people I was in line with still roaming around trying to pass time until the bus came

      EASILY the worst bus service that has ever existed. I used mega bus a couple months ago and had ZERO a/c on my return trip home. 4 hours of agonizing swelterizing heat in June. I complained and received credits for another trip since these incompetent clowns don't do refunds. Like a fool, I reluctantly used the redemption codes for a "free" trip to ******...and here I am stuck, waiting for a bus that's OVER AN HOUR LATE. We're given zero notifications as to what is going on. I had to call customer service to get an ETA *******, as opposed to the original time of 7:10!), which I doubt is true since megabus is incapable of doing anything right. Shame on me for believing that I could get at least ONE experience where these clowns provide the bare minimum in service. Awful, supremely poor service. Never again!
