A young man came to give us an estimate and we decided to have Leafguard gutters installed. The representative was very professional and explained a payment plan through **************, however he didn't mention the 18%+ in interest. When we tried to do a balance transfer to a credit card with a lower interest rate, Synchrony said it was no aloud under our contract! We cannot understand why an upstanding company like ********** would mislead a customer AND do business with a bank that is underhanded. We are very disappointed.

We had leafguard out for a quote. The sales person was very well schooled and made sure you knew it was a veterian owned company. salesperson did a walkaround and made notes on how the gutters would be installed. A few days later the crew came out to install the gutters. They did not have what they needed and had to go to ***** for supplys. We are located about 120 miles from their ****** area location. I had to follow the installation crew around and correct them on some of the installation. The sales person the sold us this did not give the installion crew any ation crew ea what was solno one from Leafguard d. The installation crew installed it the way they wanted to. I called their boss and voiced my concernThe second day they were there. He was very appologetic and said he would send us a $300.00 card for the trouble. The job was a joke. I looked like a group of 12/13 year old did it. Needless to say there came by to checkout the job or asked for pictures. The $300.00 card never showed up. The boss said it was sent. I have pictures and names if anyone would like them. I would leave my contact but it blocks me.

My 73 year old wife who was diagnosed with Dementia and has a vision problem, was sold a entire new gutter system along with the gutter guards while I was out of town. My wife was obsessed with leaves in the gutters and downspouts and probably thought she was buying only the gutter guards to prevent leaves from getting in the gutters. The gutters that were on the house were in excellent condition and did not need to be replaced. The salesman who sold her the product, should have realized something was not right with my wife when they explained what they were selling her and she went right ahead and wrote out a check for $77,000. This amount is considerable more than the $7,700 deposit they asked for. I noticed the cancelled check had been cashed for only $7,700 and thought that was the total price until I recently found the paper documents showing the total charges of over $25,000! I then realized the check she wrote was for about a third of the total price. I immediately call the general manager and asked him to review the bill and reduce their final bill because everything that was itemized seemed highly inflated. The bill shows they installed 5 drain tile connections and only 3 were installed. They also charged $148 each for 3 concrete splash blocks that probably cost $20 each at **********. I am irate at the company for overcharging us and can say the salesman probably saw an easy **** and padded the bill to increase his commission. The job took less than a day to remove the old gutters and install the new system. Most people would never pay over $25,000 for gutter on an average size ranch house. They took advantage of an elderly individual with a diminished mental capacity and should be ashamed of themselves and should adjust the bill to about half of what they charged. I spoke to the **** ***** the sales manager and he agreed to reduce the bill only a couple thousand dollars which is told him was not enough for what is reasonable.

Leafguard says that if you purchase their gutter system, you are protected for life, dont believe their sales pitch. I made the mistake of purchasing their overpriced gutters, 4 years ago, and I have suffered for it ever since. Due to the water leaking behind and from the bottom of their gutters, the landscaping bricks next to my foundation, are sinking. Therefore anything setting on the bricks are sinking too, like my propane tank, and front steps. I have contacted them several times. They came out a couple times with a caulking gun, it did not resolve the issue. They blamed it on my roof and said I needed to get a new roof. I did not have this sinking problem before, only when I got their gutters that are supposed to protect your foundation, and all it has done is damage mine. They also said that they are backed by **************** as a sales pitch. They did not answer my letters either. I would highly recommend not to purchase their gutters. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake I made. That would be the only good thing that would come out of this regrettable purchase.

My experience with Leaf Guard was one of the best ones that Ive had in a while. The presentation made by **** was very thorough. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. My husband and I felt like we were making a worthy investment with all of that the product offers. Seans energy was very engaging and he made sure that our experience was tailored. He seemed to have a natural ability to connect with us as customers and that is very important when making investment choices of this magnitude. I mean its our home. No matter what comes down the line, **** made a lasting impression on us. He was even respectful enough to take his shoes off when entering the home. Right from the get go he asked us questions to get to know our needs and see what we were looking for before speaking about the sale. I appreciate everything about the sales experience. They are also very quick with installation. Our appointment was today and they will be completing the job Monday! That sold me. I will be back to leave another review after all is said and done.

Leaf guard sold my elderly mother gutters for ****** on a small ranch home. She had the sales people at her home for 3 hours. She is 86 and hard of hearing. I had no idea she had this set up and only found out after the fact. Ive reached out and spoken to the production manager, who of course was no help. He told me the contract was with my mom and leaf guard so he would not explain how they reached the price of ******. He said to produce power of attorney in order to get this information. Im absolutely heartbroken for my mom and any other elderly person who has been taken advantage of this company.

      1) The product seems to working as anticipated but the company itself is an absolute cluster. Sales tactics are ridiculous, (pretending to be on the phone with the top guy, waiting for us to take the "deal"), high pressure and IMO ineffective. Initial price was 3x what the eventual agreed upon price was. Based on your reviews, lot of consumers are paying Way over a reasonable price. We wanted the product, but the sales approach turned out to be the thing that almost kept us from buying. 2) Installation was efficient, but a couple of downspouts did not connect to our underground drainage. The regional manager called the day after to give us he info for paying the balance due, we told him of the downspouts, he said he would get the crew out there within the week and complete the installation. We paid the balance due, and three months later we still do not have the correct downspouts. 3) Calls to the regional manager went mostly unanswered, when we did get in touch he said that the job had been completed according to the contract. The same contract that we were told by the salesperson that we would get an electronic copy of immediately. Six weeks of constant calls to the manager finally resulted in us getting the copy of the contract, which of course obligates them to complete the job.4) ************ has a good product, well engineered and thought out. The company itself is completely untrustworthy and unethical. 5) Footnote: I am astounded that the Better Business Bureau gives this company an A+ rating, certainly in light of the consistently subpar reviews that their consumers post, not only on this platform but across social media at large. The performance of the BBB has perhaps been the biggest disappointment.

We want our money back. High pressure sales tactics. "OH let me talk to my supervisor and see what I can do to get that price down."We took the bait and paid almost $13,000 for a 876 sq home. And they always look dirty, the rain drips right off the bottom and leaves puddles. You have to sweep or spray pine needles off the sides otherwise the water doesn't go into the gutter. Biggest waste of money ever! And they won't come fix anything even though they guaranteed it all.

The Branch manager spoke to ******** and confirmed a service date for this Tuesday afternoon. She has some leaking behind issues, and she thinks it is clogging. They apologized and assured her theyd be there this Tuesday to resolve her issues.

As a widow and consumer in **, I regretfully accepted the first (high-pressure) salesman, ***** *********, and his offer of $18,000 ($26,000 Retail) on my 1900 sq. ft. 1958 ranch home - 251 L.Foot. The company was LEAFGUARD. Fifteen hours later the LeafGuard crew called, arrived, and installed the system within 6 or so hours. The crew was efficient, and polite and carefully worked around my foundation plants. I called a couple of individuals who recently replaced their gutters and were shocked as they paid $1,500 to $2,800 for a similar product. Another contractor said my job should never have reached $3,000 and I needed to stop this robbery. With the help of my son, *******, we contacted the ******************* ***** ***************************** walked us through steps to successfully recover my down payment of $6,000 by "stop payment" with my bank. The contractors were informed of our displeasure and the contact with the ** (on-call) *********************** but they remained and finished the job.

This is a clear case of Elder Exploitation of a 76-year-old widow and I fear others have been exploited. There were only 18 hours from signing to installation, so I complained by phone. Leafguard ignored the *** Cooling Off Rule of three days not providing me time for the other scheduled estimate. My cell phone log and images saved has all the time/date and contacts' names, and phone numbers over that short two-day period. Signing took place on the high-pressure salesmans small cell phone window with my fingertip, tablet not working, and no actual papers or legal documents I never saw any of the 18 pages of their legal agreement until it was emailed to me later. The reduced rate of $14,309.28 is still absurd when a competitive price would be $3,000. Litigation is ahead along with social media complaints to warn others.

$18,000 for a 3-bedroom home with a garage beneath was NOT priced appropriately. This particular **********, PA business has a 1.47/5 customer rating, with 259 complaints closed in the last three years, and 76 complaints closed in 2024. And yet, the BBB provides an A+ rating! With the direction from the State of *************************************, over the past two months, I am now employing our family attorney and considering hiring an Elder Abuse Attorney to settle this highway robbery. This salesman I let in my home has an arrest history, and supposedly gave me the best price reductions by filling a Pittsburgh Food Drive bag with all my Thanksgiving pantry items. Sadly, since I was not a Vet, I was not eligible for further price reductions. This company division should lose its licenses - in ************ and *************!

While the quality of the product looks nice, my fathers failed after the first huge rain storm, the downspouts were full of leaves. The product sounds great, especially to the elderly, to keep them off ladders and reduce a fall risk. The company has an overpriced product and has an extremely high sales pitch to buy now as they dont want you to think about it. It was about $15K (cost reduced) on a simple ranch house. They will offer a gift card for a free estimate but fail to deliver on it because they can give you a better deal, after a phone call and you wont receive the card. According to the salesman, it will increase the sales value of your home, I have yet to get confirmation from a realtor this is actually true. You might as well forget about getting in touch with anyone for any type of warranty work, the phone numbers given never mention if you are in contact with Leaf Guard and if you can actually get to a voicemail, you wont receive a return call. There is an e-mail you can reach out to as well; you can forget about that also as they dont respond to that either. The biggest red flag that you will see is; when you sign the contract, they require you to contact them before you file a complaint with the state of ******. I have tried to reach someone for over 2 weeks.

Yes, they have agreed to come out to inspect the gutters, finally. This does not address the issue of the failure to deliver the gift card, I was insured by the manager that I would receive an e-mail with current contact information, I never received that. There has also been no information on regarding the over-priced, sales tactics being used. I'll update after the inspection.
