    This lab accepted a sample that was collected on 4/11/23, received by the lab on 4/18/23, (and then analyzed by the lab on 4/20/23), thus, giving any mold spore plenty of time to grow. What was the chain of custody on this sample? Why wasn't it sent overnight to the lab? Samples are supposed to be sent out on the same day. Did they not question it? Why didn't they reject the sample and ask for a new one? How many other homeowners had to remediate mold that was not there based on a false positive due to their practices or take money off the price of a home in a transaction ... the biggest transaction of their lives! Just because a report comes back from a lab and has lots of 15 letter words does not intimidate me! I don't know mold but I know dates. This lab has questionable procedures. When I called to talk to them about it they hung up on me. I wanted to know why they didn't reject the sample. I have sent out a complaint to the ** DCP and I want them investigate. ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS the lab is not licensed in the capacity as a lab that analyzes samples from home inspections. Their application is pending. They have a license to be engineers and land surveyors only.
