      Most unprofessional company I have ever purchased tickets from. I wasn’t granted entry to the New Year’s Eve event at the showboat casino in Atlantic City. I should have received full refund I have made several complaints against this company.

      I worked an event in Arlington, TX on November 11th for Upcoming Events. I've since have not been compensated for my work. I felt uneasy with the manager FIRST of all changing the terms of payment. We wouldn't be paid at the end of the day as earlier stated, but instead at the end of the event. We were told, not asked. That was fine. I immediately was leery of this change. I've been waiting for my compensation since November 14th. To date, I have not been paid. I've talked to a few people that worked with me and they all have been compensated. I've had minimal contact with the Senior Event Staffing Manager. via email. I've sent 3 emails trying to resolve this matter, only getting one response telling me that I would be compensated, per the Event Organizer. That was November 29th. I've since responded when that might be. I have yet to receive a response. Today marks one week since the November 29th email. I even considered sending an invoice to obtain payment. But this was only ONE day of work. It seems to me that for such a small matter, and for such a small amount, this company is going out of its way not to compensate me. Even if I am compensated after this posting, It still saddens me that I had to go to these lengths just to get payment. I DON'T WANT AN APOLOGY. All I want is what I'm owed. And they have my word, I will never have anything to do with this organization again.

      Cecilo, We’re sorry you had an unpleasant experience working with our partner event company (we booked staff for another company, though I am with UpcomingEvents.com who does the staffing). It seems that there was some miscommunication regarding compensation. When staff signs up to work these events, our policy is always to compensate them via check at the end of the festival weekend. The Texas Taco Festival was your first time working with us. When you did not show up to work on Saturday and Sunday, we did not have your electronic payment info (Venmo, Paypal, etc) on file in order to send a payment from Friday’s shift. After a few requests we received your payment info, it took a couple weeks to get it approved through our partner company’s accounting dept and we sincerely apologize about this delay. Now that you have been paid we hope you consider this issue resolved.
