  I called the planet fitness in ***************** I told them I got into a car accident to hold my account for months of February till end of much worse then is that they didnt offer a help for the yearly maintenance from last years this year or at least hold off until a better times to help customers with hardships I said I would have thought its better to cancel but I took their Approach, which, instead was keeping the membership instead of canceling the membership, suggesting that they can hold off the membership turn later time, which was not honored, and I am wishing to seek retribution for what they have cost for their bad business practices model and open investigations against these practices that undermine they consumers with ties that are deceive nontransparent policies that should be hold accountable.

  Last year I signed up for the planet fitness black card specifically because their website said it wouldnt have a membership term, meaning I should be able to cancel at anytime. Today I went to cancel and was charged a $58 fee.

  You dont understand my concerns and its shady to hide commitment terms in fine print that are the opposite of the terms openly advertised in the website. I wouldnt have even wanted to cancel my membership if the person working the front desk hadnt been rude to me when I checked in that day. Anyway, I learned my ****** to avoid this place from now on.

  Very ****** that your hours state 24 hrs and u close at 9 pm fri Thur Sunday I work late took a Uber you were closed today weekends is when we can go late and Mondays at midnight weekends should be to at least midnight.you advertise 24 hours members were not notified we weren't warned when u closed for 2 months to remodel very ****** off

  I was discriminated by a non member and management said he was a stranger! I was called a homosexual offensive term and told I was going to get my a** k*ck! Let to my car and colled while looking inside as I had front parking . I called to report this man to staff as he was still inside. Young employee didnt answer the phone why gym open. The non-gym member who worked out w/o checking inn left and saw me filmed my car. He leaves I wait terrified as I just got told he was gonna hurt me, I leave to go into my car to contact staff. Staff I watch spots on counter doesnt answer phone while on the clock and facility open! So after the man who called me a f***** left I went back inside. I asked the front desk employee who I watch sit there ,if that was the correct with number I called. He said yes. I asked then why did you just sit there when Im calling in concern of my safety! I was discriminated in the judgement free zone! No apology no lets look into the guy as it was later in evening, he wore sweat pants , hoodie, and mask! He knows how I look and they said they dont know who he is he never checked in. Im on SSDI with PTSD and my last job was at a Planet Fitness in ******* **, where they let a member call me a f***** on my way to management, then fire me when I feel unsafe! These are both documented! Ive been discriminated not only in Ca, but ** I only joined them back cuz for 10$ a month I get a gym, I didnt expect multiple homophobia! Im on SSDI I can only afford so much! But the fact in ** when the guy threatened to hurt me the manager didnt call me back , the owner did not! I gave severe me tal health and it took a few days after the incident to call and I was crying . Plus *** previous supervisor in CA this location was dirty , unattended, or well clean and I said that! You are getting paid for my membership never ever caused a problem . I want to press charges against this man but since the paid employees didnt check him in?!? A stranger???

  I had an extremely unfortunate occurrence at the Hackettstown planet fitness franchise. The manager of this facility was extremely rude, abrasive and foul mouthed. Granted, I am not from Hackettstown **********. Im from a different part of ********** where people are a little bit more humane. I have noticed that people in this area were a little bit more rough around the edges but the manager was extremely rude, judgmental, abusive, and told me that I can never come back there again when Im not even from Hackettstown, just because I had made a sentence that I was fired perhaps because of racism. I said I would not continue to talk about the subject. I was polite, and then they were falsely accusing me of harassing them when I didnt say anything more on the subject I did not work for planet fitness , I was stranded in Hackettstown with a broken alternator and my employers were perhaps racist I am not sure about that and I also said I was not sure about why I was fired but I did make a comment that I think it was perhaps racism also the people at somerset ** refused to transfer me to Hackettstown, because I just need to be there temporarily because my car broke down and Im stranded. But this is all temporary. I was not going to be staying in Hackettstown for very long. They were extremely rude. The manager was extremely immature and mentally ill and started falsely accusing me of something when I just said one thing about my job, but my job has nothing to do with them. I just said I wouldnt continue talking about it and she just kept going on and on. Im going throw you out of here. I am the manager I am the manager I am the manager. I walked out. I did speak my mind that I did think that she possibly has borderline personality disorder and is mentally ill. I could use her name here but ** not going to do that because I really and truly believe she is seriously mentally ill.

  I had a membership at the WestChester/Miami location around 2017/2018, and I moved away from south Fl in 2019. I had transferred my membership to MI, but WestChester/Miami was still doing an automatic deduction of $23.87 PLUS annual Membership fees. I have called and spoke to the manager and she verified my account was cancelled, and I even wrote a letter. The money is still being deducted for the last 4 years. As of May 17, 2023.. 05/17/2023 ACH Transaction - PLANET FIT CLUB FEES ACH Debit -$23.87 My bank can't stop payments, I have called, I have written, and I am still paying for a membership that I cancelled/transferred to the WESTCHESTER/MIAMI for the last 4 years. I am at wits end here. I had lodged a formal complaint with the BBB hoping to get this resolved before I have to take legal action in civil court. Please stop the automatic payment and refund all the monies since 2019. If you would like to see my bank statements please let me know. I am beyond furious ! Thank you!

  So this gym is very basic. Doesnt have much but since I cant go much I figured. Lets try it. After signing up and going for over a month the manager stopped me and asked me for another form of payment. Mind you the credit card on file was fine. Charge went thru. They said if I dont provide another credit card or my checking acct. I cant workout there. So technically I didnt cancel my acct. they refused me. I asked for my money back since I was just charged the 18th. The manager refused to reimburse me. Told me I had to leave the gym. I have never experienced this anywhere. I went to several gyms to look today and asked if this is new practice. I was told absolutely not. If they didnt ask from beginning, how is this policy? I paid for my membership? Its month to month.   I don't even know where to start from being From the roaches in the girls bathroom ,from getting Verbally, sexually abused from staff members making sexual remarks at me. I live in Brickell my water in my apartment is not working at the moment, so I only brought a gym membership to Shower remind you I bought the gym membership to where can bring a guest so I can bring My boyfriend so we can be able to go in and shower as well Long story short I went in the gym first to go take a shower and my boyfriend seat in the car to wait for me and when I came out to the car, I let hir know that he can go inside to take a shower and then the staff members inside gave us a huge problem, was trying to walk out. He was trying to grab me and stop me I was scared saying I have to be there for him to take a shower which makes no sense. Mind you we've been showering there for almost 2 weeks prior to him saying anything I really felt like it was because he saw me come in with my boyfriend and he was the same guy making sexual passes at me. And he blocked my boyfriend from being able to come to that location because he took a shower
