    This company was assigned to appraise a VA loan. This company does not understand the VA appraisal guidelines. They wrongly got involved in a dispute as to when an owner needs to establish physical residency and title. They refused to allow the VA to assist them in documenting that we did everything legally. In short, this appraiser cost me a 2.5% loan based on her ignorance of state and federal law coupled with her stubborn refusal to accept the proffered assistance of the VA Regional Loan Center. This is a grossly incompetent company coupled with their apparent willingness to go behind people’s backs. I lost that home because this refinance of a thirty year mortgage didn’t get approved based on their misapplication of the laws and facts. They misrepresented the truth and further; misapplied the law.
