We hired Window Genie to wash our patio room windows and clean our gutters. We have an upstairs and a downstairs on our patio rooms. Both my husband and I told them to do both upstairs and down. The technician told us that we both said only to do the upstairs. When they went up to the roof to clean the gutters, the technician told us that the gutters were cleaned by the recent storms that we had and that he would not charge us for cleaning the gutters. We were told the amount of the bill was $320 which my husband and I authorized to be put on our Visa. When we received our statement, the company had charged us an extra $225 for cleaning the gutters which they did not do and said they wouldn't charge us for. The job they did on our windows was below par. We called the company and instead of sending out a supervisor, they sent the same technician back to clean up some of the spots. When we called Window Genie to complain about the $225, the technician did not support with the company what he told us. Very bad experience and service was below par. They also don't stand behind what they tell their customers.

We are not pleased that you were not happy with the service provided but many of the statements that you made regarding our service are just not true. We did not charge you $225 for the gutters. We charged you $180 we also refunded you $40 for the gutter service as a good will gesture. Your husband's statement that I received via text was, "As far as the Gutter's go, wonderful job." The technician always returns to the job if there is a complaint. That way the tech can understand what went wrong and fix the problem. It is also an incentive for him to make sure that he does the very best job that he is able for each customer in order to avoid "call backs". We quoted you the price of the gutter cleaning prior to beginning the job and you approved of us doing the service. We performed the gutter cleaning in full view of your husband. There was debris in the gutters and once we pull out a ladder and put it against your house and climb the ladder then we charge the quoted price. When we returned to fix the spots on the window we would have been happy to clean the other windows but you were already complaining about the price of service, you did not indicate that time you wanted the other windows cleaned and did not seem willing to pay for the service. We only charge for the service that you agree too.
